Plan Summary
Everything we find in the Bible—every book, every author, every literary genre—points us to God. The sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments tell one unified story about God’s love and purpose for humanity and His plan to rescue us. This Is the Old Testament, the first Study Book in this series, traced this story with thematic selections from each Old Testament book. In this second Study Book, we’ll spend five weeks reading selections from every book of the New Testament to see how each contributes to the greater narrative of Scripture, from Jesus’s birth and ministry on earth to His triumphant return. At the end of this study, you’ll have a framework for reading the New Testament and a better understanding of its role in redemption history.
