Good Morning all my SRT sisters! I was a day behind, so just now catching up. I read through yesterday’s comments – thank you all for sharing all your thoughts and what God is teaching you! The one verse that mostly stood out to me in yesterday’s reading, Revelation 21:4 – “God will wipe away every tear from their eyes”. This I look forward to and hope for, no more tears, pain or sorrow – what a day of rejoicing that will be!

  33. Margaret Wells says:

A good reminder for me as I’m currently dealing with financial struggles. He is my God, and I can have faith in him so as to not have anxiety over the future.

  34. ERB says:

MAURA, so thankful for you dear sweet friend!! I agree!! There really is SO much to learn in the word of God!! Our Father is so intricately detailed, beautiful and completely magnificent in ALL His ways!!! I often think of this song when I think of God and His plans…
Through Heaven’s Eyes by Brian Stokes Mitchell
A single thread in a tapestry
    Though its color brightly shines
    Can never see its purpose
In the pattern of the grand design
And the stone that sits on the very top
    Of the mountains mighty face
Does it think it’s more important
Than the stones that form the base?
So how can you see what your life is worth
    Or where your value lies?
You can never see through the eyes of man
You must look at your life
Look at your life through heaven’s eyes
A lake of gold in the desert sand
Is less than a cool fresh spring
And to one lost sheep, a shepherd boy
Is greater than the richest king
If a man loses everything he owns
Has he truly lost his worth?
    Or is it the beginning
Of a new and brighter birth?
So how do you measure the worth of a man
In wealth or strength or size?
In how much he gained or how much he gave?
    The answer will come
The answer will come to him who tries
To look at his life through heaven’s eyes
And that’s why we share all we have with you
Though there’s little to be found
When all you’ve got is nothing
There’s a lot to go around
No life can escape being blown about
By the winds of change and chance
And though you never know all the steps
You must learn to join the dance
You must learn to join the dance
So how do you judge what a man is worth
By what he builds or buys?
You can never see with your eyes on earth
    Look through heaven’s eyes
    Look at your life
    Look at your life
Look at your life through heaven’s eyes

Be Blessed today dearest friend!! Love and Miss you so much!! Xoxo

  35. Maura says:

Amen, I love where God claims His people and His place as being their God. And I always feel myself thankful and included when I read those words. What joy all He has done to redeem us, love us. Searching, praying with you for the world and for His quick healing after surgery for your family member. ERB, WOW indeed. So loved reading your post yesterday. Not sure if you will see this, but so very cool all you shared. Isn’t there so much to learn in the word of God that is so intricate and beautiful. Nads, was such a gift to read through Isaiah and share. Thankful ERB invited to share in it. Excited to see what we all learn in this next study.

  36. ERB says:

    VICTORIA E
Each of you made me smile with your comments and your excitement about the meanings I posted… I obviously get excited about that stuff too!! But, I also started to get concerned… I am NOT an expert, so don’t take my “quick little search” as anything other than it was.. God, please let Your voice be heard above all else, and if anything that I posted wasn’t from You please let it be wiped from our memory banks! Thank You Jesus. Amen!!
As an FYI: if you want to look things up for yourself, which I encourage you to do!! Most of my research came from a site called God’sChemestrySet. I also googled the history of each stone, paying particular attention to what they meant in biblical times, and took that into account as well.

So glad to have EACH of you ladies in my life and that we are all such a blessing to each other!!! You touch and encourage my heart everyday and I truly appreciate every single one of YOU, whether you comment or not!!! Much Love to all!! Here’s to a Holy Spirit filled weekend!!! Xoxo

Oh the JOY! He is dwelling with us and IN us through His Spirit. What a miracle that only God can do – taking these vessels of clay and filling them with what is of infinite worth, Himself.
When we see Him as He sees us, how will we even be able to stand it?

  40. Searching says:

Worshipping the Lord with tears and thankfulness for His love and might after reading all of Ezekiel 37, especially the first several verses where He brings an army to life from a sea of dry bones. Is there anything He cannot do?? Nope. It doesn’t mention what Ezekiel did afterwards, whether on his face in awe and worship or shouting Hallelujah but surely one or both. We serve an awesome, all powerful God.
Praying for needs mentioned this week, and for the people of Afghanistan as they try to reach safety and freedom, for the people in western North Carolina as they recover from the floods, search for the missing and mourn those that died, for overcoming the stronghold that covid has on the world, and for a family member of mine recovering from surgery – praying for a quick recovery and that much needed progress afterwards will happen and that no further surgery will be required.
    Have a great weekend, sisters.

    1. Chris Swan says:

      Yes and Amen. Prayers
