Women in the Word of God every day.

Who We Are

She Reads Truth is a worldwide community of women who read God’s Word together every day. Founded in 2012, She Reads Truth invites women of all ages to engage Scripture through curated daily reading plans, as well as online conversation led by a vibrant community of contributing writers. This community of “Women in the Word of God every day” represents a long list of cities and countries, a variety of backgrounds and traditions, and countless real-life stories. But there is a commonality that binds us: we believe God’s Word is Truth. So we read. Every day we read a new passage together—working our way through books of the Bible, topics that matter, and seasons of the Church calendar. We engage with God’s Word and with each other. And we keep coming back, on the hard days and the good days, because God and His Word never change, regardless of our circumstances.

He Reads Truth, founded in 2015, is a community of men in the Word of God every day with Bible reading plans that occur in tandem with the She Reads Truth community. Kids Read Truth, founded in 2016, produces resources designed to equip kids with biblical literacy and instill in them a love for God’s Word.

She proceeds to express that “the composed type of language is an unmistakable phonetic framework, a hypothesis which is bolstered by plentiful research information.” Furthermore, she plans her hypothesis of writing obtaining around Krashen’s speculations, showing how these location what is thought about the requirements that must be met i£ fundamental essayists are to secure the capacity to compose. In any case, the necessities of essential authors have been seen as like those of different scholars, their disparities involving degree.

What We Believe

First and foremost, we believe in the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We believe in God (Genesis 1:1). We believe we are sinners in need of a Savior (Romans 3:23). We believe Jesus Christ came to save His people from their sins (Matthew 1:21, 1 John 4:9-10), fully and forever accomplishing that work on the cross (1 Peter 2:24).

We believe the Bible is God’s Word.

Every word of Scripture is living and active, breathed out by God, written and preserved by human writers, and inspired by the Holy Spirit (Hebrews 4:12, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:21).

The Bible is a historical record.

The Old Testament records the creation of the world, the fall of man, the establishment of God’s covenant with Israel, and the promise and anticipation of a Savior (Genesis 2:4). The New Testament tells the true story of the life, death, and resurrection of that Savior, Jesus Christ, the birth of the Church, and the promise of Christ’s return (Matthew 1:1).

The Bible is meant to be read.

Because God’s Word is true, even the parts that are sad, scary, or difficult to understand are good news. Every page, from cover to cover, is given that we might know God (Matthew 4:4).

The Bible is for you.

No amount of knowledge or wisdom makes you more or less qualified to meet God in His Word. Nothing you are doing, have done, or will do renders you ineligible for the good news of the gospel (1 Timothy 2:3-4).

The Bible is for right now.

You can read the Bible right where you are, just as you are. It is the only living and active book in the world (Hebrews 4:12), and we can trust the Holy Spirit to illuminate the words He has already inspired (2 Timothy 3:16). The Bible exists for moments like this—the moment you lay it open and look for Jesus (John 20:31).

We believe in the tenets of the Apostle’s Creed, a statement of faith used by Christians since the fourth century:

We believe in God, the Father Almighty, the Creator of heaven and earth, And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He rose again from the dead. He ascended into Heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty, from whence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic* church, The communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, The resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen. * “Catholic” refers to the universal church of God’s people throughout all time and from all places.
