Plan Summary

What is the story of Advent? Why do we set aside time to prepare for the celebration of Jesus’s arrival each and every year? This story begins all the way back at creation, when God first set the world into motion. From the first light of creation to the arrival of the anticipated Messiah—Jesus Himself—each part of the intricate, unfolding Advent narrative builds our own anticipation for Christmas Day. Join us for a season of expectation and hope as we await and celebrate God coming into the world to redeem it from our sin and brokenness. We’ll explore and practice the rhythms of Advent, intentionally carving out space in the middle of this holiday season to joyfully wait for and celebrate our God who has come near.
