I am a product or recipient of this very verse 1 Peter 5:10. Almost 4 years ago I made a hard decision. But God……He was/is with me and my children. I am being restored, established, Strengthened and supported. It has been a journey. A journey that I have not walked alone. Jesus has (and is) been with me through it all.

After you have suffered a little while is hard sometimes. My idea of a little while is 5 minutes!!! Lord, help me to trust in your timing and to get through trials with you intentionally walking and looking to you to lead and refine me into who you want me to be.

To anyone struggling with fears about their children’s choices and walk with God- go listen to this weeks SRT podcast. Especially towards the end (after the commercial break in the middle). It’s such a beautiful reminder that these promises are not just ours- God speaks them over our- HIS – children. He has promised to be faithful to them. To their walk. To their journey. It may look different than what we hope for them- but it doesn’t mean He’s not working. Doesn’t mean we’ve failed them. It means they have their own mind and personality and experiences that He is going to use to work in their hearts and minds. Keep praying. Consistently. On your knees, before your Father, praying His own word back to Him on their behalf. He loves them more than we do. He will not leave or forsake them. Please be encouraged today…❤️

@Maura praying for your friend Bev. I love what you said, if it is not His will to restore her sight, then please give her strength. I will be praying that over her.
@Natasha I do not have a teenager, but I have a 21 year old and I have often joked that parenting adults is more difficult than parenting children. But, I know how you are feeling. My daughter has very much lived of this world and some of her choices and the things she thinks and says make my eyes widen. I try to speak the truth to her without sounding too preachy, but I am where you are at. But, I know that God is working on her heart and I know God is at work in your children as well. I pray you find that peace as you know you have to fully surrender them to God and TRUST that He will take care of them. Hugs to you and prayers for you and for your children.
