@Heidi I feel like you wrote this just for me. Thank you. It’s been a hard week with my children. Thank you for the reminder.

    I love God’s promises!❤️

  4. Churchmouse says:

God has more than enough grace to restore, establish, strengthen and support us as pilgrims on this earth. Suffering is lessened when we focus on His abundant grace.

  5. Mercy says:

Praise the Lord for this promise. After our temporary suffering -in a little while, in a little while, in a little while, you may have to say this a few times, the restoration, establishment, strengthening and support will come from Him. Our suffering is the sign, the sign, the sign that all the latter four will come. We will be restored, established, strengthened and supported in Him. Hallelujah.

Thank you Jenn!! So appreciate your prayers! Praying His peace for you and Natasha. He is faithful, I have seen that in my own daughter’s life. So thankful it has been over 2 and a half years she has been clean. As you said it isn’t easy, but when you lay them at the feet of Jesus. Surrender and trust, He is so good! I love this verse today That our “God of all grace”, not some grace or a little grace but ALL grace. In such grace He called us, sinners, wretched, to “His eternal glory in Christ.” Can you raise a Hallelujah just in this. But also “He, Himself will restore, establish, strengthen and support” us, after we “have suffered a little while.” And we know suffering grows us in His ways and can be all for His glory. Romans 5:1-5. How Great is our God!! Hugs to your Saturday Sisters!

I am a product or recipient of this very verse 1 Peter 5:10. Almost 4 years ago I made a hard decision. But God……He was/is with me and my children. I am being restored, established, Strengthened and supported. It has been a journey. A journey that I have not walked alone. Jesus has (and is) been with me through it all.

  10. KJ Johnson says:

After you have suffered a little while is hard sometimes. My idea of a little while is 5 minutes!!! Lord, help me to trust in your timing and to get through trials with you intentionally walking and looking to you to lead and refine me into who you want me to be.

  11. Jill Lee says:

    Amen!

To anyone struggling with fears about their children’s choices and walk with God- go listen to this weeks SRT podcast. Especially towards the end (after the commercial break in the middle). It’s such a beautiful reminder that these promises are not just ours- God speaks them over our- HIS – children. He has promised to be faithful to them. To their walk. To their journey. It may look different than what we hope for them- but it doesn’t mean He’s not working. Doesn’t mean we’ve failed them. It means they have their own mind and personality and experiences that He is going to use to work in their hearts and minds. Keep praying. Consistently. On your knees, before your Father, praying His own word back to Him on their behalf. He loves them more than we do. He will not leave or forsake them. Please be encouraged today…❤️

@Maura praying for your friend Bev. I love what you said, if it is not His will to restore her sight, then please give her strength. I will be praying that over her.
@Natasha I do not have a teenager, but I have a 21 year old and I have often joked that parenting adults is more difficult than parenting children. But, I know how you are feeling. My daughter has very much lived of this world and some of her choices and the things she thinks and says make my eyes widen. I try to speak the truth to her without sounding too preachy, but I am where you are at. But, I know that God is working on her heart and I know God is at work in your children as well. I pray you find that peace as you know you have to fully surrender them to God and TRUST that He will take care of them. Hugs to you and prayers for you and for your children.
