Weekly Truth

Open Your Bible

1 Peter 1:3-4

Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry the good news of Jesus with us wherever we go.

For this plan we have worked to memorize our key passage, 1 Peter 1:3–4. Continue to repeat it as a reminder of the hope believers have in Christ’s finished work and their future home.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Because of his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead and into an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you.
—1 Peter 1:3–4

Feeling so thankful to the Lord for my salvation and his unwavering steadfast love. Praying for you Dorothy and Lynne from Alabama and so many of you. I will be up early tomorrow on my remote day looking for you in the Psalm study. Peaceful blessings to all.

Thankful for SRT and this SRT community of sweet friends! ❤️

PAMC – we aren’t totally sure how it will work until tomorrow :)
The 2 unofficial studies are first Psalms of Gratitude and then Psalms of Rest. Look for these under the Reading Plans on SRT website menu. HEIDI made a great suggestion to scroll down (quite a ways) through the plans to locate and bookmark these 2 ahead of time. If they are not available come Monday (not sure if site is changing during this break), then I’m following Heidi and doing Kingdom of God (one of 3 suggested by SRT). I’ll look for you ❤️

DOROTHY – have been thinking about you this week and praying for you, and for Jake. Love you! ❤️

Thanks y’all & SRT for a great study. I’m praying for you & your nephew Dorothy. Missing so many. Not sure I understand how we’re doing the Psalms study but I’ll be looking for you.
Hugs & love to all y’all.

    Dorothy,
PLEASE don’t apologize we all need help with prayers. I am dealing with the same thing with my son. I will continue to pray for you and your nephew. Sometimes we have to let them fall, its tuff love and hard to do.
    Have a blessed day sisters.

  6. Dorothy says:

Next to these verses in my Bible I’ve written; Lord, I’m so very grateful You sent Your One and Only SON to DIE for me & my sins & so I may have eternal life. AMEN

I have really enjoyed this study and it was what I really needed right now. It helped me through this difficult time.

Sisters thank you for all your prayers. I have been the last several days and will go today to finish getting things out of my sister’s house. I have had help — it’s unbelievable what my nephew did to this house and even some of the furniture. I’m trying hard to understand him, I’m even going to classes through the National Alliance on Mental Illness, — yes it is helping — but it’s hard. I don’t know what will happen to him after he gets his mother’s money. I found some papers saying he needed to show up for court for some type of traffic violation on April 4 and I don’t know if he did. I torn between going to the police and finding out; if he didn’t he will have a warrant for his arrest. Please continue to pray for him — I know he uses drugs and I think he might be into gambling — and I don’t want to lose anyone else so soon.

    Enough of my rambling, sorry.

Be blessed and God’s love IS WITH you wherever you go, ALWAYS, sisters.
