Psalm 40:3

Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry His Word with us wherever we go.

This week, we memorize the last two lines from Psalm 40:3, where David praises God for His deliverance.

He put a new song in my mouth,
a hymn of praise to our God.
Many will see and fear,
and they will trust in the LORD.

    Psalm 75:1
“We give thanks to you, God; we give thanks to you, for your name is near.

People tell about your wondrous works.”

    Psalm 86:8-10
“Lord, there is no one like you among the gods, and there are no works like yours.

All the nations you have made
will come and bow down before you, Lord, and will honor your name.

For you are great and perform wonders; you alone are God.”

Thanks be to God for His faithfulness to us.

King David is so right… until you have ‘seen’ the Lord, until you have experienced His goodness, grace, mercy, provision, deliverance. Comfort. Love.

    Hope.

Until you have walked a walk that you know did not happen in your own strength, or ability. Until you can believe that “.. the Lord is your shepherd, and that with Him, you have EVERYTHING you need..

    Until then..

Will you have that ‘fear’, that reverence, that respect, that wholeheart inner feeling and conviction that God and only God is worthy and that He can be trusted completely..

    BUT GOD..

Being God, and only God.. loves us so much that He gives us ALL the time we need to get to this place of reverence and awe..
He is good, loving, compassionate and always, as we find out on our journey, He is forever near..

    We can trust Him wholeheartedly!

    Amen.

    Happy Sunday Beloveds..❤❤
