Isaiah 43:1-2

Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry the good news of Jesus with us wherever we go.

This week, we will continue memorizing Isaiah 43:1–2 by adding the second verse. God has promised He will be with us in every circumstance, no matter how difficult or trying.

Now this is what the LORD says—
the one who created you, Jacob,
and the one who formed you, Israel—
“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by your name; you are mine.
When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you,
and the rivers will not overwhelm you.
When you walk through the fire,
you will not be scorched,
and the flame will not burn you.”
—Isaiah 43:1–2

Isaiah 43:1 was in one of our Bible lessons in Bible class this morning! It ALWAYS gives me chills! I also would totally be your friend on FB, RHONDA J., but I gave up social media a couple years ago. I’ve thought of coming back, but this is my social media outlet, as well as ‘Connect’ (on WW…

Sunday is supposed to be a day of rest, well it definitely is for me today, I went to bed about my usual time (2:30 am) and just woke up about ten or fifteen minutes ago. I guess I was really tired from my previous weeks work.
The verse from Isaiah is one that I will be copying and putting up because, I sure like many of you, I go through time of troubles where I feel like even the Lord isn’t close by. By writing it out on an index card and posting up on either my fridge or my mirror or both, I will be reminded of HOW MUCH GOD DOES LOVE MY AND IS THERE FOR MY ALLLWWAAYYYSSS!!!!!!!
Be blessed and remember you CAN ALWAYS rely on GOD, CHRIST AND THE HOLY SPIRIT.

I pray that you can pray for my mom’s health. She’s wheezing pretty bad and all the things she has tried to stop it have not been working. She’s been tired mostly. Please pray for her health to improve. I love you dear sisters

Prayed for God to open doors of blessings for you and your husband. My pastor preached on God as our provider and God is faithful in all situations.

Oh you SRT friends, your comments, bless my soul and help me to keep the Sabbath day holy. I ask God to meet all your needs and give you peace in whatever your circumstance. It is not “if” the waters rise or the fire rages but “when.” How comforting to know that we do not face them alone. It is not relying on our own power or resourcefulness but relying solely on God who accompanies us. He is our protector and guide. He always gets His children home. So glad we have each other with whom to share our journeys.
