Day 7

Weekly Truth

from the Psalms of Rest reading plan

Psalm 46:10

BY She Reads Truth

Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry the gospel with us wherever we go.

This week we will memorize a verse that expresses God’s heart for his people to rest in His sovereignty.

“Be still, and know that I am God.”
—Psalm 46:10 ESV

Thank you for the reminder to Be Still. To pause— breathe in, breathe out. Open our hearts and minds to You. Be filled with Your peace. Acknowledge that You alone are God and You alone are in control. And then lay our burdens at Your feet, and rest.
