Micah 7:7

Memorizing Scripture is one of the best ways to carry God-breathed truth, instruction, and reproof wherever we go.  This week, we’re memorizing a verse about God’s promise to hear us:

But I will look to the Lord;
I will wait for the God of my salvation.
My God will hear me.
—Micah 7:7

Write this verse down and post it on your mirror or at your desk, in your car or on the fridge—anywhere you’ll see it often. Save the image below as your phone’s lock screen so you can read these words of truth throughout the day.

We want to be a community that is intentional about Scripture memorization. Will you join us?

    Oh, LYNNE FROM ALABAMA, that is fantastic! Enjoy your time of worship in person and in community with the fellow believers of your congregation.

    A woman in our church has been coming recently, as someone has been staying with her husband the last few weeks. What a wonderful gift she has been given. I’m with RHONDA J… ask if there’s someone that could come sit with Jack. Many might not know that this is something they could do to offer you some respite care. And maybe even some others will see this offer by your friend, and think, “I could do that. I hadn’t considered this need.” You may have many, many offers after today. Take people up on their offers, for sure!

    Blessed Sunday, sweet sisters!

    Happy Sunday She’s!

    So happy for you Lynn! I hope you have a lovely morning in worship and fellowship! Maybe you could let someone know and they could rotate a few men that could come hang with your husband on Sunday morning while you attend church! I’m sure you hate to ask, but sometimes people don’t know what you need until you do ask. It could be so wonderful for you to attend weekly to fill your cup!! It makes me want to know what our members might need, to help.

    I am looking forward to the new study tomorrow. I think I was disappointed that some of my favs were not in these past two weeks! lol. I’m surprised I don’t even remember this study, knowing that I have done every study for over 8 or 9 years!

    KELLY NEO – Thanks for sharing ‘the rest of the story’! Beautiful encouragement!!!

    LYNNE FROM ALABAMA – YAY, YAY, YAY!!! Answered prayer!!! Breathe in and soak up that good worship and fellowship time! Praying for you and Jack and his friend!

    God bless you all! Beatitudes, here I come! ❤

    Good morning, precious friends! I am up very early today because Jack woke me up but I am very excited (and tired). A buddy of Jack’s from his coaching days and from our church is coming to stay with him so I can attend church! Woo hoo! This is only the third time I have been this year. For someone who grew up being in church every Sunday this has been very hard. May each of you enjoy your time of worship as much as I plan to!

    This has been a great study. Good call, SEARCHING! I knew all the songs except for the first one. I missed some of our peeps who didn’t do this study but enjoyed keeping up with my dear friends who did! I look forward to “seeing” many of you in The Beatitudes.

    I am praying for each of you and your needs (both spoken and unspoken). Love you all!

  5. Kelly (NEO) says:

    Reading the whole chapter in Micah 7, it ends with this: “Who is a God like you,
    forgiving iniquity and passing over rebellion
    for the remnant of his inheritance?
    He does not hold on to his anger forever
    because he delights in faithful love.
    He will again have compassion on us;
    he will vanquish our iniquities.
    You will cast all our sins
    into the depths of the sea” (18-19).

    Celebrate the Lord’s faithful love!

    So very timely. Lord, I will continue to look to You. Through thick and thin. Through ups and downs. Through good times and bad. Through black and white and all the grey areas in between. Through this global pandemic. I will look to You for comfort and strength. I believe in the mighty name of Jesus that YOU WILL HEAR ME. You are always there. You always care. Thank you Lord for Your never failing love! I do not deserve it but am eternally grateful.

  7. Alison Haynes says:

    Very timely right now…

  8. Angie Graham says:

    It’s hard for us to wait sometimes but we need to be patient because He is always faithful. The answer is not always what we want but it’s what He sees as best!
