Memorizing Scripture is one of the best ways to carry God-breathed truth, instruction, and reproof wherever we go. This week, we’re memorizing a verse about God’s promise to hear us:
But I will look to the Lord;
I will wait for the God of my salvation.
My God will hear me.
—Micah 7:7

This really jumped out at me and encouraged my heart to know God hears me and how I am to continue to wait on Him for the things my heart desires! So good!! Thanks SRT.
The God of my salvation is also my Father, Creator – He is so many wonderful things in our lives.
No matter where we are or what we are going through, God will listen and hear us. That is amazing to me.
What a perfectly timed verse for me, going through this devotional several weeks “late”, on Election Day. A beautiful reminder He, our God and Savior, is in complete control. He sets up rulers and He removes them. What an amazing peace in Him and His ultimate plan for the our country and the world!
Praise God for his grace and salvation I appreciate all the small things and big things God has bless me with. But most importantly I appreciate that I’m SAVED and have a relationship with my Heavenly Father who is their for me no matter if I have no one my God has been there for me from the beginning. Yes! In light of this culture into which God chose to birth me, let me daily say “But I will look to the Lord. I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me.” I do not fear. I go forward confidently. Yes!
