Grace Day

Open Your Bible

Psalm 36:7

Take this day to catch up on your reading, pray, and rest in the presence of the Lord.

Although I’m studying Ruth after many, I noticed something on this day of grace. Upon opening my app, I quickly noticed the passage was very short. Even though “grace day” was the title, I began to check and recheck my app to ensure something wasn’t wrong. So it is with our Christian walk. Many times we overlook the grace that our Savior provides. We often look for the many things that should be wrong and overlook the grace He gives us on a daily basis. Yes, we can all be guilty of over thinking from time to time, but when we point to His grace, it can settle our hearts & mind. Today, I challenge us to accept His grace❣️

I have been catching up this morning and reading comments that I missed. I want to thank @Mercy for her comment on Day 3. About choosing faith over hope and despair. There are a lot of ups and downs in this journey I’m on with Steve fighting brain cancer. The brain is such a delicate organ. And affects so much. Steve can be loving and kind one day, and mean the next. And I know it’s not him…it’s the cancer. Anyway, thank you Mercy, for your insights. A reminder for me that each day I have to choose between hope and despair, between faith and fear, between bitterness and pleasantness…Choose you this day. Hugs ❤️
