Day 27

Grace Day

from the Ezekiel: Come to Life (Lent 2022) reading plan

Psalm 106:47

BY She Reads Truth

Lent is a season where we reflect on the depth of our sin and embrace the hope and strength found only in the cross of Christ. We seek unhurried moments of quiet to read Scripture, pray, confess, and repent. Take some time today to catch up on your reading, make space for prayer, and rest in God’s presence.

Save us, LORD our God,
and gather us from the nations,
so that we may give thanks to your holy name
and rejoice in your praise.
 —Psalm 106:47

I forget. I go so strong and then something knocks me back and I don’t know whether to be grateful to be humble or to mourn that I feel stuck in a cycle

I was in the darkest and loneliest corner of the earth when God found me. Thank you, Lord, for finding and gathering all of us so we can be one body of Christ.

Feeling very convicted of the sin still in my heart through the readings this week. My eyes have been opened to my pridefulness which leads to me being judgmental to those around me….my heart still needs so much transformation and I am so grateful I have a God who works on my heart every day. My son has been home for one whole week and we celebrated his 18th birthday. Praising God for the healing I have seen in my son’s heart and in my family. Just like my heart still needs work, our family has more healing to do but I trust God is working all of this for our good and His glory. Praying for this beautiful community today as I watch snow falling outside my windows ❤️ basking in the beauty of God’s creation.
