Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry His Word with us wherever we go.
This week we’re adding the second half of verse 27 to our memorization, where God promises that His people will once again walk in His ways.
“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. I will place my Spirit within you and cause you to follow my statutes and carefully observe my ordinances. You will live in the land that I gave your ancestors; you will be my people, and I will be your God.”
—Ezekiel 36:26–28

I been reading this verse a lot lately because it’s my Lock Screen but it is such a good promise from God. God is so faithful to His plan
What beautiful words, what is the name of this song?
Dear ladies, my daughter, who is 14 years old, was baptized today. It has been a blessed day. God is moving and working, and today we saw little ways that he is connecting people and working to bring people to himself. I hope that no matter what you are going through, your heart may be filled with hope and you can rest in our Father’s arms.
So beautiful, God gave us his son to save us, that is true and pure love. I love you all my SRT sisters!
Brooke P- praying for your anatomy scan! It feels like a few weeks ago we had ours and our baby is here now! So happy to hear things are going well with your pregnancy.
Hope all are having a restful, peaceful, and joy-filled Sunday! Dropping back in to read comments and realized I didn’t say that this morning! I love seeing new and familiar names each day! Unity is love, unity is strength, and unity is hope for an ever-changing, upside-down world.
Have you all heard the song “Stand?” It’s a good one! “I’m gonna stand, in a world that’s shaken, Stand…
Each and every one of you is a precious daughter of God. I’m praying over this coming week for us all and I just want to say how glad I am to be sisters with you all in Christ. Love you all!!
Adrianne… this weeks memory verse is the last part: …You will live in the land that I gave your ancestors; you will be my people, and I will be your God.
Dorothy thank you for sharing those perfect song lyrics .
Hi! Can anyone with the book confirm what line of scripture were memorizing this week? Both the desktop and app have differing info. Thanks!
New heart, new spirit. From a biblical perspective the heart is the seat of mind and will, not just emotion. Discipline with a new heart looks like self control, my whole being aligned in God’s will. Fruit of the spirit grows from here. Not my will but Yours Lord be done. “Repent and live.” (Ezek 18:32) “And make for yourselves a new heart and new spirit.” (v 31). In the act of taking personal responsibility for my own sin, when I repent, my heart is made new, my spirit is made new. And I live in tandem with God’s will. With Yahweh. Self reliance hardens my heart. When my heart is hard I cannot respond to God as I should. My self separates me from Yahweh. “A voice calling in the wilderness, clear the way of Yahweh” (Isaiah 40, quoted by John). Yahweh’s divine council back in session, launching the kingdom of God with Jesus as their point man. (Dr. M Heiser). The sea was split in Exodus, the heavens were split with/for Jesus, as God made a way for His people to be saved. A new Exodus event. Jesus emerged, cloaked in humility, more than 500 years after the return of Judah from exile. A new battle begins… Until. Maranatha.
Just wanted to add something from my worship service, we sang a song that the lyrics really spoke to me, here they are:
“Why is it Lord
that when we’re stressed
we feel things more
and think things less?
We let the fear
that is inside
become our ruler
and our guide,
We say the things
we ought not say
we let concerns
control the day,
Lord, take our fear
and in it’s place
fill us with love
and hope and grace.”
What a beautiful message this has in it and I had to share it with you all.
Thanking God for this day and for His love, grace and mercy.
Good morning sweet SRT sisters. It’s a beautiful cool Sunday morning as I watch the sunrise in the mountains. It’s been a wonderful retreat. My daughters here, my best friend is here with her daughter who is best friends with my daughter. God is doing wonderful things this weekend in our hearts. Thankful I obeyed and came. My Jesus knew we needed this. Reciting the memory verse In this beautiful place is breathtaking I wish you were here to experience it
Lord, God thank You for sending Your Son Jesus Christ to die for my sins. I rejoice in being Your child. I praise You for all that You have done, bad and good in my life, all that You have taught me and all those You have sent my way in this journey of life. Allow me to continue to live a life befitting of You. Show me Your ways when I have strayed; help me when I’m down; and most of all remind You are there when I think no one cares. Thank You for putting the Holy Spirit in me and all of us, may we us it to tell others about Your Glorious and Wonderful Son Jesus Christ. Father God my heart aches for Finley, Monica and Chad, but I know You know what is best for them. Watch over them and all of the other concerns mentioned here, whether written or in thought, because You Lord know what we need. Father watch over us in this coming week and remind us to show Your love, compassion and hope wherever we go, even in the hardest of situations. In the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, amen.
Sisters, be blessed and know you are loved, cared for and have someone at your side at ALL TIMES.
Amen!

“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” Isa. 41:10
Worship the Lord with abandon today Shes. He is our strength and our righteous redeemer❣
MELANIE – how is Jason? How is your dad?
ELLEN MORRIS – praying for Alexandria. Greatly urge her parents to find a therapist for her. If at her young age she can learn healthy coping skills she would have a leg up on life. I know my young niece is doing so much better with what she learned.
MICHELLE PATIRE – how is Claire?
I am thankful for the day of grace we I am reminded of your rest and peace.
