    I love how the angel of the Lord asks Hagar “where are you going?” Even though she is a slave her faith has become personal.

    “Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that ensures to eternal life” I really needed reminding of this today as I’m in the middle of exams but, in reality, they mean nothing because the results are only temporary – it is eternal life which we should be striving for

    My favorite part is that Jesus went to the mountain to be alone. Often I find myself seeking solitude and feeling guilt over it. I love that the Lord found strength in solitude.
