23Sing to the Lord, all the earth!

I have been having a hard time reconciling the character of God that comes across in the Old Testament with Him (Jesus) in the New. But, He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Heb 13:8) and He (Jesus) is the exact representation of the Father (Heb. 1:3). I fully believe that. My prayer is that God would help me understand Him and see Him as an integrated whole. He is the Lord and He is perfect, spotless and without stain of sin. So, the mercy and tenderness that Jesus displays to the sinful woman is the same God, whose mercy and tenderness has been since the beginning. O Lord, increase my understanding and reveal Yourself!

In Luke we are reading about the saving faith of so many people. It’s amazing! I pray to have faith like that.

The Lord blesses because it is according to his heart! What a wonderful truth this is that he cares for our good and delights in it.

  7. E Hong says:

27Now you have been pleased to bless the house of your servant, that it may continue forever before you, for it is you, O Lord, who have blessed, and it is blessed forever.” -ellie
