I loved reading about how forgiving and loving Jesus is in Luke. Such a beautiful reminder that no matter how far we’re gone, Jesus will always be there with open arms and forgiveness.

  5. Tyla Olsen says:

Today was the first time I read Nathan’s prophecy to David in the light of Jesus and the gospel. Such a huge reminder that when we think we have something of value to offer God, he looks back at us and gives us Jesus instead. So beautifully humbling.

  6. Melinda says:

47 Therefore I tell you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven—for she loved much. But he who is forgiven little, loves little.

50 And he said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.” ♥️ i love you Lord..

I had a negative attitude, thinking Chronicles was all lists. Then the story of David returned. And his beautiful emotional words of praise and worship are recorded! Such extremely different content in one book! Reminds me that God is always full of positive surprises!

  8. Hayley says:

I wish I had the strength of David because I find myself being too forgiving or too easily fooled by people. I want strength and courage and compassion. I look to the woman laying at His feet for her forgiveness of sins and working so hard to do, where as I just forgive so easily. Reading these passages shows me that people are willing to do anything and everything, I’m just not there yet. I would like to be. There is work to be done here.
