    Wow what a beautiful layout in these passages. Reading through the Chronicles made me question “who am I to that He brought me that far?” And if I can ever be like David to deserve even a single promise. And it beautifully transitioned into Luke of undeserving woman that is much loved and accepted.

    Wow. Just wow. Sisters, may we be firmly planted at the feet of Jesus, worshiping Him with everything we have — even our tears — and just kiss His feet…. I only ever want to feel the weight of His sacrifice, my debt is so great. May I never forget how much He loves me or how much I owe Him every day!!

  4. Ariadne says:

    50 your faith has saved you, go in peace. The word of God will really speak to your spirit!!

  5. Gabrielle says:

    11 When your days are over and you go to be with your ancestors, I will raise up your offspring to succeed you, one of your own sons, and I will establish his kingdom. 12 He is the one who will build a house for me, and I will establish his throne forever. 13 I will be his father, and he will be my son. I will never take my love away from him, as I took it away from your predecessor. 14 I will set him over my house and my kingdom forever; his throne will be established forever.’ ”

    I love to read how God foreshadows Christs coming! The promises that God makes for Jesus, he also makes for us when we give up our life and follow him. And what beauty and freedom there is in a life lived for Jesus. I have felt like I’m going through the motions lately. But God has big promises that are constantly being fulfilled right here and now. Thank you God!

      I bookmarked this exact scripture! It’s always so cool to see the foreshadowing of Christ in the Old Testament!

    8 Oh give thanks to the Lord, call upon His name;
    Make known His deeds among the peoples.
    9 Sing to Him, sing praises to Him;
    Speak of all His wonders.
    10 Glory in His holy name;
    Let the heart of those who seek the Lord be glad.
    11 Seek the Lord and His strength;
    Seek His face continually.
    12 Remember His wonderful deeds which He has done,
    His marvels and the judgments from His mouth,

    50 Jesus said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”

    Faith is all we need. We have received grace and forgiveness. We need to trust through our faith that when we give our sins, fears and anxieties to Our Father he will forgive and carry us. We seem to have so much trouble doing this, even though we are His faithful. I can’t imagine the emptiness and fear that would be life without Him.
