what’s next: Jonah

A rebellious prophet and a really big fish.
A sinful city and a shocking pardon.
Repentance and mercy – a whole lotta mercy.

Join us here tomorrow — Tuesday, March 18 — as we begin 2 weeks in the book of Jonah.

We have fallen in love with this little Old Testament book, and we can’t wait to read through it with you.

So today, REST. Breathe. Pray. We’ll see you tomorrow.

I’m new to she reads truth and I’m looking forward to beginning in the study through Jonah! Is there a certain time everyone comes together and dives in or is it just when have our regular personal bible study time? Looking forward to hearing everyone feedback!

JONAH in the middle of LENT!

What a blessing after the last 12 days in "Fasting" … on to Repentance, Meditation and Confession??? or have we already covered these topics in those first 12 days???

Seems to me, Jonah is much more than a big fish tale! Can't wait as you share this one!

Thanks SRT for this wonderful site, Reading and now Sharing God's Truth each day! Love the camaraderie of sisters in this commUnity (I agree with Kat!)

I have never read the book of Jonah either but am also excited to learn what truths it holds for us. I also will be reading through it today in preparation for this study. I am so grateful for the srt staff for all the time spent in bringing these studies to us. Thank You SRT!

I read through Jonah this morning after seeing that it would be our next study. As I had (yet another!) snow day today, I was able to really spend time in it on my own, soaking in what I thought I could before we start our own study. So much is packed into these four chapters – I can't wait to see the Truths revealed over these next two weeks! Thank you to my sisters in this community – not only the writers but also the readers – for providing such rich depths & insights to Scripture.

YESSS! I love the book of Jonah! And it so often overlooked! Can not wait! <3 Thanks She Reads Truth AGAIN!! For such great devotionals. You're hard work does not go unnoticed! *hugs* (been reading these for over a year, I say we reached the stage in our relationship hugs should be given haha)

I am SO EXCITED about this study! This summer, I worked for SpringHill Day Camps in Michigan, and the curriculum that I taught to my campers on a weekly basis included the story of Jonah! It was one of my favorite bible stories to teach these children, who were Kindergartners – 5th grade. Each week when I taught this lesson, I was amazed at the things my campers told me! I'm just…I'm really excited! :) I love that you can know the ins and outs or a bible story and STILL learn something new from it each time you read it.
