Text: Isaiah 26:3
We believe that memorizing scripture is one of the best ways to carry the Word of our God with us wherever we go – to have God-breathed truth, instruction and reproof in our hearts and minds as we live unto Him each day.
For our Weekly Truth, we’ve chosen Isaiah 26:3, a sweet promise from the Lord as we learn to meditate on His Word.
You keep him in perfect peace
whose mind is stayed on you,
because he trusts in you.
Isaiah 26:3, ESV
Write it down – copy it twenty times if that helps! Save an image of this verse to your phone’s lock screen. We want to be a community that is intentional about Scripture memorization. Join us?
Boy, how I needed this. Lord, humble me and cause me to submit my heart to you fully. I can't do this all on my own. I need to trust you. Help me to.
Have a great day, sisters. xo
Beautiful. Thank you for the lock screen ministry. It’s wonderful.
I just wanted to say how much I love these lock screens!!! Such excellent reminders of truth throughout my day. Thank you :)
This came at the perfect time for me. We just buried my grandfather yesterday and the only way that me or anyone in my family will be at peace is if we are in The Lord. He is the perfect peace, he gives peace, and if we know Him, reading, study and mediate on His Word we will be keep in perfect peace if we keep our minds stayed on Him. Thanks for this!
Needed to hear this! God is good.
This is one of my favorite verses. Especially from the Contemporary English Version . "The Lord gives perfect peace to those whose faith is firm." At times I need reminding of this. Is my faith as it should be? Blessings for all this Lord's day.
How do y'all save this as a lock screen??
Thank you for this to start of the new week! Praying to remain focused on Christ at all times, trusting in His perfect plan for my life! Makes me think of the hymn ‘Come Though Fount of Every Blessing’ –
‘Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it,
Prone to leave the God I love;
Here’s my heart, O take and seal it,
Seal it for Thy courts above.’
Such a vital reminder to engage in the battle of keeping my mind thinking about life-giving things. Thank you!
