Psalm 115:1-18

Scripture is God breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry His Word with us wherever we go.

Each Sunday during this plan, we are reading a different Hallel psalm and memorizing one of its verses.

This week, memorize Psalm 115:1 as you meditate on the psalm as a whole.

      Worthy of It All
      Lyrics:

      All the saints and angels
      Bow before Your throne
All the elders cast their crowns
Before the Lamb of God and sing

You are worthy of it all
You are worthy of it all
For from You are all things
And to You are all things
      You deserve the glory

      All the saints and angels
      Bow before Your throne
All the elders cast their crowns
Before the Lamb of God and sing

You are worthy of it all
You are worthy of it all
For from You are all things
And to You are all things
      You deserve the glory
(You are worthy, You are worthy)
You are worthy of it all
(You are worthy of it all)
You are worthy of it all
For from You are all things
And to You are all things
      You deserve the glory

      Lord You’re worthy
From the rising of the sun
To the going of the sun

Day and night night and day let incense arise
Day and night night and day let incense arise
Day and night night and day let incense arise
Day and night night and day let incense arise

      (Come on)
      Day and night
(Cry out) night and day let incense arise
      (You’re Holy)
Day and night night and day let incense arise
Day and night night and day let incense arise
Day and night night and day
You are worthy of it all
You are worthy of it all (Jesus)
For from You are all things
And to You are all things
      You deserve the glory

(You are worthy, You are worthy)
You are worthy of it all
      (Yes You are)
You are worthy of it all
(We owe everything to You, yes we do)
For from You are all things (from You are all things)
And to You are all things
      You deserve the glory

Happy Sunday sweeties, hope everyone got some good sleep after losing an hour of sleep with the exception of Arizona and Hawaii (I looked it up). Whenever I do something or overcome something and someone compliments me, I do my best to point to JESUS! I say, “It’s ALL Jesus!” “None of it is me.” “I can’t do life without MY Jesus!” Enjoy your places of worship sweet She’s.

Not to us, Lord, not to us, but to your name give glory because of your faithful love, because of your truth. Psalm 115:1

All praise and honor to our mighty God. King of Kings, Lord of Lords and our Savior. May the very story of our lives glorify Him. ❤️

  10. Sharon Jersey Girl says:

    @Wendy B – yes, you are right – I had you mixed up with @Maria B!
@Maria B – continued prayers for your church and your pastor. Praying that he stood his ground and did not step down. My heart goes out to you all. ❤️

Feeling very sad this morning. I know it’s going to be a very small group at church today. I wish I knew God’s plan for us. I am clinging to His faithfulness this morning.
…”to your name be the glory because of your love and faithfulness.”

Be blessed today my sweet sisters.❤️

    1. Searching says:

Praying all will be blessed in the service, Sharon, and praying for wisdom and guidance for you and Jeff ❤️
      Matthew 18:20
“For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”

    2. Darby Byrd says:

      Praying over your service Sharon

    3. Indiana Elaine says:

I remember those days when our church got down to 25 in attendance and no children. Searching is right that where 2 or three are gathered, Jesus is there. Even though we had to sell our church, our 25 still meets and are a very close knit group. Many of us attended together since the 70’s. We raised our kids together.

    4. Cee Gee says:

Sharon, I felt the same way this morning, got to church and saw the parking lot, vand said, “Wow!” I have never seen such high attendance following Spring Forward! I hope you were pleasantly surprised as well! ❤

    5. Wendy B says:

Dwindling numbers is incredibly discouraging. Praying for encouragement for the faithful that gathered along with wisdom, energy, insight and fresh eyes in leading for Jeff, yourself and those supporting the leadership of your church.❤️

  14. Cheryl Blow says:

Praising God for one more day!! Have a blessed day! Praying for all!

  15. Rhonda J. says:

Oh WE KNOW this…ALL GLORY TO GOD…yet, does our life demonstrate this?! In many ways yet, we go to Church to Praise and Worship, we say blessings at dinners, and we say Thank you Lord..for the good in our lives. But in reality, most of our lives reflect we living for our own glory. Success, having (lots) material things, leading our families well. We want joy and goodness in our lives, and that gives us satisfaction and we get proud.

Lord convict us today, that we want to fully surrender to your will. Bear our cross for what you want, for most likely it is the hard stuff that will come our way that most develops us. Help us. (gotta get ready!)

    Song…Chris Thomlin- Not To Me

    1. Rhonda J says:

My current favorite song is “Jesus have it all!” I listen to it driving to church this morning I want Jesus to have it all and I pray he will help me do that.

    “Israel, trust in the Lord!
He is their help and shield.
    .
House of Aaron, trust in the Lord!
He is their help and shield.
    .
You who fear the Lord, trust in the Lord!
He is their help and shield.
    .
The Lord remembers us and will bless us.
    He will bless the house of Israel;
    He will bless the house of Aaron;
    .
He will bless those who fear the Lord—
small and great alike.” Psalm 115:9-13
    .
In the quiet surrender of Lent, I remember the Lord who remembers me.
    .
When I empty myself, I find God, my help, my shield, my blessing.
    .
In the stillness of Lent, I remember that the Lord remembers me.
    .
Lent teaches my heart to trust the God who shields and blesses the small and great.
    .
In the quiet of Lent, I trust my God who remembers me.

    Biblegateway verse of the day:
    2 Corinthians 1:3-4
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort. He comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any kind of affliction, through the comfort we ourselves receive from God.

  19. Kelly (NEO) says:

    Psalm 115:11, 13-16
“All you who fear the Lord, trust the Lord!
He is your helper and your shield.

He will bless those who fear the Lord,
    both great and lowly.

    May the Lord richly bless
    both you and your children.

May you be blessed by the Lord,
    who made heaven and earth.

The heavens belong to the Lord,
but he has given the earth to all humanity.

The dead cannot sing praises to the Lord,
for they have gone into the silence of the grave.

But we can praise the Lord
    both now and forever!

    Praise the Lord!”
    .
May our praise rise up as we gather with the saints today!
    .

  20. Erica Chiarelli says:

There is a worship song that comes perfectly from Psalm 115.1, called Not to Us (The Throne is Yours) by North Palm Worship … Here is the chorus —

    Not to us oh Lord
    Not to us
But to Your name be all the glory
    Not to us oh Lord
    Not to us
But to Your name be all the glory
We save our worship for You only

    1. Cee Gee says:

Thank you, Erica, for this beautiful song share! New to me! ❤
