Scripture is God breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry His Word with us wherever we go.
During this reading plan, we are memorizing our key verse, Isaiah 43:1. This week, we’ll continue with the final line of the verse.
Now this is what the Lord says—
the one who created you, Jacob,
and the one who formed you, Israel—
“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by your name; you are mine.”
—Isaiah 43:1

I have a question: Should I enjoy church?
I’m not sure what you mean, I LOVE and enjoy church…but no- The worship and songs shouldn’t be about “our” feels–but to sing to him and praise him. We really get caught up in church being “comfortable,” coffee in hand, how we feel. So if that’s what your referring to, maybe take note of the “why” you go. And the things you like or don’t. We may not like the style our preacher preaches…but is it God’s word? Does it line up with scripture- the points he tries to share and encourage with?
Styles change to grow churches and to make us enjoy but ultimately it’s not us–it’s about HIM! And the true “church” is not a building but Christ-followers as a whole.
I do think we need fellowship with each other to grow and encourage, and keep each other accountable. When we only listen online, we lose the connection with other believers. It is important to be able to have sisters you can cry, laugh, and pray with! ;)
Hear hear, Rhonda! Well put!
Thank you so much, this answered my question! ❤️
Adding to Rhonda’s thoughts – no, I don’t always ‘enjoy’ church but I always benefit from church. And probably more so on the days when the sermon seems to have been written after an intense study of my thoughts or actions and directed straight at me. When I’m squirming from hearing truth that ‘happens’ to be what I need to hear – not too enjoyable but getting things straight between me & the Lord is true joy.

“I have called you by name you are MINE”
HE knows my name! I (We) are His!! This has always given me comfort knowing my JESUS knows who I am. He knows who YOU sweet She’s are! The weather here in NorCal took a turn and its COLD again with expected rain and wind. Not the kind of weather I experienced 24 years ago when my God blessed me with my son Caleb! YEP it’s Caleb’s birthday today. AND instead of requesting me to make breakfast, he is making a special breakfast for all-of-us and invited his girlfriend. YEP, he officially has a girlfriend. They took it very slow. We absolutely love her! She’s a sweetie! Most of all she loves JESUS! Happy Sunday sweet She’s!
Happy Birthday Caleb! I always tell my son it’s my special day of having him!
Happy Birthday to Caleb! I hope he had a wonderful day! ❤️
Thank you, Father that you created me and I am yours.
Thank the SRT and sisters for another week of reading, studying, challenging, and encouragement. Have a blessed Sunday She’s. May His love, presence and goodness run over you today. God be praised ✝️
And He walks with me and He talks with me
And He tells me I am His own
And the joy we share as we tarry there
None other has ever known.
Love this old hymn!
Yes, me too!! Thanks for bringing it to mind!
❤️
Have a beautiful Sabbath, She’s!
What do we have to fear? Nothing! We are His and He is in control! Amen!
We ARE HIS.
HE WILL save us!

What promises to stand on, to absorb the shocks of this life. I don’t know why shock absorbers (on a vehicle) came to mind, but that was the image that came as I was typing.
His promises do absorb the shock, the pain, the heartbreak and disappointment, and they help us to just stand and believe. So thankful!
.
Love you sisters and sending prayers and hugs. Have a great worship experience today! ❤
So good! Amen! That’s a great analogy.

I am His
“The ONE who created you, the ONE who FORMED you…!” He knit me together in the womb to be me! A special creation for him. To love him and honor him, just as you should your earthly mother and father.
It’s hard to imagine how much he love us because parenting here on earth has given us complex feelings of not so perfect parenting. But the Lord, he made humans in his likeness, anyone ever studying the human body and brain knows how complex it all is. Yet we often take it for granted until something goes wrong. Just like physically, the same thing mentally and emotionally. Something happens and our world is turned upside down. But today, we have caused Gen Z to be in a constant state of anxiety and depression. They are escaping behind phones and gaming. We can’t cope anymore. I feel like they don’t have the stable security that being raised knowing that a God bigger than our woes and troubles, more protective than the fiercest momma bear, more powerful than the biggest waves and mountains…! There is a God that has all under control to the very details of our lives. But that is faith and trust, and it is our rock. We have to have that foundation that starts from the first step of faith, and is foster daily in Him, by him, for him. Then it spreads outward to your family and others. It’s encouraging to know that there are many Gen Zers coming forth in revival, knowing they need Christ the rock in their lives!! How beautiful to hear these stories and testimonies in a time we think of as the “great fall away.” God will not let his people go without giving them amble opportunity for his love.
Believing this for all of our prodigals, and even the “older prideful sons” alike!! It is not what we do that earns, it is all because He loved us first!
Have a great Sunday!! (I still can not get going to our earlier service on Sundays at our church, added with the time change!!)
But now “Goodbye Yesterday” is playing! Goodbye to the old life..He rescued me out of the mess I was in…Hallelujah!! The toes are tapping Tina…! Resurrection in my veins…!
Amen and amen, Rhonda! Looking up the song! ❤
Love this Rhonda! Funny, Caleb was without a phone for nearly a week. He went in to try to get it fixed but instead was given a new one (thank God for Apple Care). BUT had so many issues reloading and such and security that he had to wait. He shared with Alyssa and I that he actually didn’t miss not being able to get a hold of. He felt peace.
Wow..that’s amazing! My son took a break too from some social media, and said it was good, but it was only a break. I hope the new generations will do differently with not giving smart phones to kids.
God is so personal ❤️
I am called “His”!
And one fine day, I will learn the name He gives me for eternity.
“To the one who conquers, I will … give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name is inscribed that no one knows except the one who receives it” (Rev 2:17).
.
Happy Mothering Sunday to those Shes in the UK.
.
Praying for the requests and needs. May you gather with your church family to worship today.
Amen, Kelly; thank you for sharing that verse! ❤
Adding my amen, thank you Kelly ❤️
My given name at birth was Christiana Esi Prabah Kuntu-Blankson. A mouthful, I agree.
In time the Christiana became Tina, and the Kuntu-Blankson became just Blankson.. and the Esi Prabah disappeared..
My earthly Father, used my full name often, when I was a child, to reprimand me when I was naughty(WHOo? Me? so the story goes,:), but here’s the thing.. he also used my given first name, often, in love, when I’d done something good or excelled at school..
I was named after my daddys favourite sister, on whose shoulders, my daddy hoped I would stand..
That was always going to be difficult..
.
BUT GOD..
.
Dear Wonderful Father God, He never changes and so from my mothers womb, my name has been the same.. His own.
When He addresses me there is no change, no variation, no expectations except that I AM HIS OWN!
No matter how I perform in life, no matter the journey of how I got here today, my name is still HIS OWN.
And I have been HIS OWN, all my life, and He calls me by name..
.
HIS OWN..
.
I will sit in this today, cover myself in it, bask in it, sew it on my heart…
.
HIS OWN..
HIS OWN..
HIS OWN..
.
AMEN.
.
Happy Mothering Sunday, my dears..
Be blessed knowing that you are loved, loved loved.. and loved some more..❤️
Beautiful, Tina.
Thank you.
Amen!
What beautiful knowledge! Happy Mothering Sunday! ❤
So beautifully said, Tina. Happy Mothering Sunday to you ❤️
I am His!!!! I needed this
reminder today as care giving is feeling lonely and isolating.
Being honest dear She’s I am
missing my duties as a minister at church but I take comfort at
the remembrance of all my fellow She’s who have walked this road!
You showed me the way and your
loving patience and endurance is
guiding my way now. Please continue to pray, hubby is better
but we’re now dealing with some
emotional issues as he grapples with what has happened to him!
Isn’t that amazing R!? That we saw the endurance, strength, and obedience from our She caregivers? I know how hard just a week of care giving is with a hubs, not easy, so we pray for you in this trial, that hopefully it gets better continually for you husband and feels normal at some point. How is he doing? How serious of a stroke was it? Did he lose the ability to speak and usage of his right side?
Thankfully the stroke was on the right side of his brain which
affected the left side of his body particularly his left leg. After intense therapy he can walk slowly without dragging his left
leg.The problem is with his speech and voice projection, slurred words. My husband does a lot of speaking in his line of work so he’s becoming
very frustrated that his voice may not come back!
Praying for complete recovery and healing, in Jesus’ name!
Praying as you continue caregiving and praying for a full recovery for your husband, that he will have patience through the process
LOVE you sweet Tina! WE are HIS!!
❤️
So beautiful, Tina ❤️
Thank you my Lord and my God
