2 Corinthians 5:17

Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry the good news of Jesus with us wherever we go.

For the last three weeks of this plan, we’ll memorize our second key verse, 2 Corinthians 5:17. This week, we’ll memorize the second part of 2 Corinthians 5:17, the joyful proclamation that God’s work to make all things new is present here and now.

If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the new has come!
—2 Corinthians 5:17

    KELLY (NEO) & CEE GEE – joining you in loving those verses Kelly shared from Isaiah ❤️

    Again sharing a BG verse of day, Ps 18:1-2
    I will love You, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

    ROBIN REALI – welcome!

    KAREN ELIZABETH- praying for continued healing for Kai

    MERCY ❤️ so true about our intentions. Praying for restoration of the relationship with your brother. I have prayed for and seen relationships restored between family members when I thought it would never happen.

    MARI V ❤️ praying for the dynamic between you and your mom. You mentioned long time issues, and those are part of what I have had to lay down in relationships – especially with family. It’s hard, but I keep reminding myself that I can only change myself ….

    MICHELLE PATIRE – praying for you and your family ❤️

      SEARCHING, thank you again. It went very well! I kept it simple and to the point, and when she started to mention this and that I just gently told her, I’m here to apologize. She is an amazing mother, and she loves Jesus, us, her kids, and her grandchildren. But like all of us, we all have issues we need to work through. That’s between her and God, and like you said we can only change ourselves. I can only change myself.

    This verse comes to mind today.

    ”Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead,“
    ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭3‬:‭13‬ ‭NIV‬‬

    We haven’t attained it yet but we keep on persevering until we reach our goal in Christ Jesus! He makes all things new. We just need to keep our eyes on Jesus.

    The OLD has passed away, and SEE, the NEW has come! (Emphasis mine)

    KELLY NEO – I have always loved “Do you not see?” in that verse. I envision this breathless excitement!

    Timely that I just saw a Bible study on Faith Gateway recently called “Don’t Look Back” based on Lot’s wife.

    SARAH D – What an answer to prayer; so glad you were able to accomplish that!!! ❤

    Lots to do before church so I have to scoot! Praying each of you has a blessed worship time today either in person or online. Praying for all needs! ❤

  6. Stephanie Wilsey says:

    Amen, may it be so!

  7. Kelly (NEO) says:

    The new has come! Just as God promised:

    “Do not remember the past events;
    pay no attention to things of old.
    Look, I am about to do something new;
    even now it is coming. Do you not see it?
    Indeed, I will make a way in the wilderness,
    rivers in the desert” (Isa 43:18-19).

    MERCY ❤️

    MUNCHKIN – hope you get to attend your local church today
