Judges 2:11-12

Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry His Word with us wherever we go.

As we read, we will memorize Judges 2:11–12a, verses that illustrate the repeating cycle of sin seen in the book of Judges.

We’ll start by memorizing part of verse 11.

11 The Israelites did what was evil in the Lord’s sight. They worshiped the Baals 12 and abandoned the Lord, the God of their ancestors, who had brought them out of Egypt.
—Judges 2:11–12a

The timing of this study is amazing. I’ve never read judges before and am so happy to be in this Word right now!

Praying for many requests, for relief from pain for GrammieSue’s Steve, Rhonda J’s neck, Kristine Loughman’s feet, and praying for Lynne’s Jack having confusion. Praying for our loved ones that don’t know the Lord and for peace and good communication in our homes and in our jobs. Praying for teachers, home schooling teaching parents (grandparents!) and Sunday School teachers.

    HAPPY Sunday ☀️ sweet She’s!
I posted early yesterday morning, but I must’ve not hit “post“. @ MICHELLE PATIRE and ALL my beautiful, sweet sisters. My daughter and I had a nice trip to Santa Clara University. We did great time as we left quite early. We talked the entire time it was nice to leave early while it was still dark and experience, watching the sunrise together, even though I was driving. She got so much good information and was quite pleased with the University. It’s a gorgeous campus! Her plans are to attend a JC for two years and then make a transfer. My prayers for my daughter, if she does decides to attend there (in about two years) that, in the meantime her faith in Jesus will grow stronger, as this university is not a Christian college. she did tell me on our trip back home that she already looked up Christian churches in the area. That made my mama’s heart glad. i’m grateful dead for now the next two years, she can just build a stronger faith in Christ. We were able to see the pre-law building as that’s what she’s interested in. Please pray for her heart. In tears she was telling me last night that, she doesn’t feel supported by a couple of her peers, and she knows that all it matters is what Jesus wants from her and that she has mine and her brothers support.
