Matthew 9:35-36

Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry the good news of Jesus with us wherever we go.

This week we will finish our memorization of our key passage with the final section, which further highlights Jesus’s compassion for the people He ministered to.

Jesus continued going around to all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness. When he saw the crowds, he felt compassion for them, because they were distressed and dejected, like sheep without a shepherd.
—Matthew 9:35–36

  2. Dorothy says:

Lord God Father of all humankind, thank You for being there for me when I need You. Christ Jesus Almighty Son of God thank You for being my shepherd in my times of confusion, helplessness, destitute, sorrow and despair. Holy Spirit of Almighty God thank You for remaining in me and being my strength, faith and fortitude in my hard and bad times. Lord God, Christ Jesus, Holy Spirit, I know I DO NOT say it often enough BUT THANK YOU for being there in the good times and allowing for the good times. In the name of my Almighty God, amen.

Praying Linda! God protect Linda’s daughter in this scary situation, we pray that she is able to somehow separate from her husband in a safe way, and that you guide her decisions, and allow her to navigate correctly, trusting in you. We don’t know what’s ahead, but you do Lord, and we will rely on your protection for this daughter, and raise her up to YOU, thank your Father God, our protector and armor in every situation, NO request in too small or too big. Be with our sister Linda as a mom as she worries, give her peace that you love your children and that you hear us, In Jesus name, amen.

    Happy Sunday Shes!
Jenni- so glad you have joined us!! Even growing up as a Christian, I found understanding the whole of the bible was so confusing; learning certain stories and bits and pieces of what churches wanted to preach about God! But it wasn’t until I started reading the bible myself, using a daily study bible, and SRT studies/podcasts that over time (years) that I started absorbing the whole beautiful story as God’s GREAT LOVE STORY of CREATING HIS PEOPLE, yet giving us our free will, and How Jesus came finally to bring His people to HIM once and for all! Each SRT study I’m drawn into the little details/picture of the BIG picture! So keep with it! You will desire more and more! It’s amazing also, the comments from the ladies here, that give different insights and wisdom and how it applies in their walk with the Lord!

At church today the message emphasized, as we tend to forget, that we are ALL born separated from God, and until we come to him, no matter how and where we are in our life, He wants us, as we are…to come to him. Only then, when we acknowledge Jesus sacrificed it all for each one of us, he is the only way to be right with God. There is nothing you can do to earn points, or to clean yourself up, it is only through Jesus Christ. Come to Him today….lay down your burdens. Confess and rest in his arms.

Sisters, in urgent need of intercessory prayer today. My daughter is in a very dangerous situation. Her husband is mentally ill and refuses to get help. He has numerous guns and recently has expressed thoughts of suicide. They have three dogs and a cat and she’s afraid if she leaves without the animals he’ll kill them. She is planning on filing for divorce and is contacting attorneys tomorrow. I’m so concerned for her safety. I’m praying but knowing that others will too would be a blessing. Thank you.
