Matthew 9:35-36

Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry the good news of Jesus with us wherever we go.

This week, as we continue to memorize Matthew 9:35–36, we will add the first part of verse 36—Jesus’s response to the people He ministered to.

Jesus continued going around to all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness. When he saw the crowds, he felt compassion for them, because they were distressed and dejected, like sheep without a shepherd.
—Matthew 9:35–36

    I have seen The Chosen mentioned a lot. I will have to look into it. My husband and I have a few shows that we watch together but he always falls asleep. He works hard and crashes even harder. I am looking for something to watch on my own besides Chopped Junior!

    My husband and I started to watch The Chosen this past month and finished season 1 and are in the middle of season 2. Watching season 2 brings these readings to life. I know there are liberties in the filming but scripturally sound. May your day be blessed.

    @Kimberly Z and Rhonda J, Since my running partner, and I decided not to run this morning, I took the time to go back to yesterday’s comments. It meant so much to me, and THANK YOU both for praying for me. It was a gorgeous morning yesterday. My daughter and I walked to this cute little local coffee shop. She worked on homework and I worked on the dreaded paperwork for court and you know, it wasn’t too bad. It was a lot of reading and processing but once I was filling out the paperwork it was a little easier. Continued prayers are appreciated as I’m going to file, hopefully on the 30th when I have jury duty (of all things). I’m gonna get there a little earlier and that’s another thing. I’m still without a car so I’m going have my son drop me off early.

    @KELLY (NEO) and SEARCHING, I’m praying for the both of you this morning. I appreciate you both and I’m sure everyone here agrees. We appreciate your faithful prayers for all of us.

    Once again sisters I was blessed by one of my neighbors, who felt compassion on me. I was struggling with a box down the 5 or 6 stairs of our apartment building and the mother of the young man I who took my trash last asked if could help and took it from me.

    Sisters be blessed and let’s ALL show the same type of compassion Christ showed to the crowd of people to those we see today and throughout the coming days.

    Psalm 135:1-3
    “Hallelujah!
    Praise the name of the Lord.
    Give praise, you servants of the Lord

    who stand in the house of the Lord,
    in the courts of the house of our God.

    Praise the Lord, for the Lord is good;
    sing praise to his name, for it is delightful.”
