Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry His Word with us wherever we go.
The nation of Israel often retold the story of God’s deliverance through songs. For this reading plan, we will memorize Exodus 15:1–3, a portion of the song that Moses and the Israelites sang after God delivered them from Pharaoh’s army at the Red Sea.
We will start by memorizing the first portion of verse 1.
1 I will sing to the LORD,
for he is highly exalted;
he has thrown the horse
and its rider into the sea.
2 The LORD is my strength and my song;
he has become my salvation.
This is my God, and I will praise him,
my father’s God, and I will exalt him.
3 The LORD is a warrior;
the LORD is his name.
—Exodus 15:1–3

You are my hiding place. You will preserve me from trouble. You will surround me with songs of deliverance (Psalm 32:7). Glory to the Living God forever and ever! Amen. Have a blessed Sunday dear beautiful sisters.
“Then they believed his words; they sang his praise.” (Psalm 106:12, referring to the Song of the Sea, of Moses in Exodus 15). When God delivers, my heart sings. I find myself singing out loud to God on my morning walks. Out in the country only God and the woods can hear me. And He is the only ear I want to hear. My praise bubbles up in praise for all God has done, all He is doing, and all I know He will do. I pray as I sing, and words form in my heart with more intention and praise at the same time. Like the song of Moses, poetry set to music feels like the fullest expression of my heart to God. The ancient phrases in Exodus 15 feel relevant and true. Because they are. It is a freedom song. A song of redemption. A rescue story depicted in the oldest poem known in history. It is my rescue story. The Lord is my strength, my song, my salvation, a warrior, a faithful redeemer, today and yesterday. And for each gift of tomorrow. The Lord reigns forever. He made a way through the depths of chaos to rescue and redeem me. Us. He is rescuing still. It’s what He does. Every hour I need Thee… “I will sing to the Lord, for He is highly exalted” (Exodus 15:1a). Selah. Maranatha. Amen.
Amen
2 The Lord is my strength and my song,
and he has become my salvation;
this is my God, and I will praise him,
my father’s God, and I will exalt him. – Exodus 15:2
Let it be so! Amen! May we remember God is our strength, song and salvation.
Sing it to the daughters
Sing it to the sons
To every generation
Look at what the Lord has done
Sing it to the darkness
That the light has come
Sing it to the nations
Look at what the Lord has done
(Bethel Music)
Let’s get our Praise on this morning! Halleluiah!
Our young granddaughters have been listening to their VBS music for weeks now. I love listening to their voices in worship. And I love their exuberance in doing all the motions as they sing. They might be off key and their bodies overly expressive for some folks. But their carefree worship reminds me of David dancing in the streets as the Ark of the Covenant returned to Jerusalem. Michal scorned while David leaped. May we all be unashamed of worshiping God in whatever way we choose.
Gooood morning Shes
“May the God of peaceae himself sanctify you completely. And may your whole spirit, soul, and body be kept sound and blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful; he will do it.” 1 Thess. 5:23-24
Worship the Lord with abandon today!
I WILL sing to the Lord, for He surely is highly exhalted..
Praise you Lord God.
I WILL Praise.
I WILL worship.
I WILL proclaim.
I WILL sing, Lord God, I will sing.
AMEN..
Blessed Sunday wrapped in love and prayers for a peacefilled and God annointed day!❤
