Day 21

Weekly Truth

from the John reading plan

John 1:1-5

BY She Reads Truth

Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry the good news of Jesus with us wherever we go.

This week we will continue memorizing John’s prologue. In John 1:3, John emphasizes Jesus’s divine nature by pointing to His active role in creation.

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 All things were created through him, and apart from him not one thing was created that has been created. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of men. 5 That light shines in the darkness, and yet the darkness did not overcome it.

Praying over you and your mother that in the care and watch of God the trip is peaceful and serves to give your mother what she may need, whether it may be happiness, peace, hope or adventure.❤️

    ABIGAIL McKEEVER…I’m praying!

I have a trip soon which I promised to take my mother on (as she can’t go without me and desperately needs it)…it is quite risky but, we feel called to go. PLEASE pray that God put up a barrier if not His will and we’ll feel peaceful. Thanks.

Good evening ladies, I’m being very vulnerable here. I am desperately asking for prayer for my dad, Lester. He is about to head into 3 months of intense ministry and is facing deep doubt and discouragement. I am very convinced this is a spiritual attack. This often happens right before he heads to this ministry every year. It is lasting longer this time. Will you join me in praying for release in the name of Jesus? That he could go and teach the Word unhindered and unashamed? Blessings to each of you!

Happy Sunday everyone! Recovering from Covid over here, but thankful for feeling so much better and for this study in John! Again, I would love to recommend listening to the BEMA podcast as well as the SRT podcast on John. They’ve both been so helpful to do along with the readings. Many blessings to you on this Sunday!
