Romans 15:5-6

Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry the good news of Jesus with us wherever we go.

During this study, we will memorize the key passage for this reading plan, Romans 15:5–6. In this passage, the apostle Paul speaks a blessing over his readers that expresses his desire for their collective unity. Read the full blessing aloud a few times, then try saying it from memory.

Now may the God who gives endurance and encouragement grant you to live in harmony with one another, according to Christ Jesus, so that you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ with one mind and one voice.
—Romans 15:5–6

Please continue to pray for my ankle. Still not allowed to drive. My appointment is December 9. And I’ve noticed the last couple days it hurts. I’m hoping it’s because I’m doing my exercises.

Good morning ☀️ my beautiful SRT sisters! Another gorgeous Northern California day BUT cold, but that’s OK, the sun is UP! Wishing you a beautiful day wherever you may attend services and let uus hide God’s word in our hearts. I’ll be attending online with my girl as my son is celebrating your friendship weekend in SLO.

Dear Sisters, it has been an overwhelming week, but God, knowing He is working and fighting for me and my girls. Overcome evil with good is in my mind, remembering in my weakness He is strong. And that He goes before us and behind us and so we as children of God are surrounded by our Lord, the Holy Spirit we can move forward in faith. Feeling so depleted today, Encouragement and Endurance needed. Hoping to do what is needed when I feel so low on energy. Rhonda J praying a new season for your marriage, that God will open up the struggles so you can speak openly together and pray together over it all. Hugs to you. Foster Mama praying for you, discernment and His timing with everything. Bring your miracles Lord Jesus, and give us eyes to see all you are doing. Help us to stand in faith. In Jesus name. Amen.

Tina, I have been involved with SRT since it’s inception and have always looked for your comments as have and do many others. So glad you are back. Hoping you are recovering well from COVID with no lingering side effects. At this time of Thanksgiving, I just wanted to reach out to you and say how grateful I am that you share your wisdom on this site with the she’s. I’m blessed to be your sister in Christ. As you say Love and hugs from across the pond!

His Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path and I will hide His Words in my heart!! Have a BLESSED Sunday!

TRACI GENDRON – Continuing to hold you and every aspect of your being and health will be preserved as you celebrate Tanner and lean into those who love you.

MUNCHKIN – definitely joining you in prayer; may His wisdom and discernment be evidently clear to you (heehee…and me!)

CHRIS S – YES! It’s SO easy to offend with the “kindest” comment…I’m so happy for you both that you got to clear it up so quickly; I’m still dealing with effects of a comment made (and clarified to have been taken) 180° from what was intended!

    Happy Sunday!

@Growing Faith, unfortunately, although we are renewed, there is lots of work and growing when we become reborn! lol. Family is harder sometimes I believe because we put on our “niceness face” all day, then we are worn out when we get home and release on our families. Or maybe it could be that we are around our family so much that it gets challenging in that way. I had just said a couple of days ago, that I have been going through a trial with my husband for some time. Although he is my love and best friend, it seems we knock heads about once a week or so that turns into a disruptive, few days of silence from him. I don’t know why the cycle keeps happening and keep fervently praying about it for what seems like a long, long time. I have been trying to find us a new church home, being new to the area for a couple of years, but it has been hard searching out “the right one” by myself. My husband is a believer, but certainly is not “on fire” and has been very lackadaisical of the idea of going to church here. Anyway, I think if we can get the Holy Spirit working with us, being our uniting force it could, of course, help our relationship get back to where it was. So I am holding tightly to this verse as well of encouragement and endurance to live in harmony together.

Hope you all have a wonderful day.
