Acts 2:37-41

Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry the good news of Jesus with us wherever we go.

As we’ve read Acts, we’ve worked to memorize Acts 2:37–41. Test your memory by reciting the entire passage. If you don’t have it all memorized yet, keep coming back to the passage until you do!

37 When they heard this, they were pierced to the heart and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brothers, what should we do?” 38 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, each of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 For the promise is for you and for your children, and for all who are far off, as many as the Lord our God will call.” 40 With many other words he testified and strongly urged them, saying, “Be saved from this corrupt generation!” 41 So those who accepted his message were baptized, and that day about three thousand people were added to them.

I have loved studying Acts with you all, even though I have not posted or commented much. The study of this book has grown and deepened my faith so much and I am so thankful for God’s Word. What a gift He has given us in His Word, His Son and His Spirit. Lord, may I boldly speak Your name and the Gospel message with authority and power only your Spirit can give me.

Praying for the Holy Spirit to help you share the gospel with boldness to your family, Poppy!
I love how Peter was able to preach with such boldness! And how the Holy Spirit used him to reach so many people for Christ.

  8. Poppy Waskett says:

With many other words he bore witness to them. Peter was bold, may we witness with the boldness of Peter, who is himself showing the power of the holt spirit at work in and through him. I pray for my family that I would have opportunity to witness to them this coming week and that they would believe. Please pray especially for my sister Amy’s openness to the gospel and my mum Rosie
