Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry the good news of Jesus with us wherever we go.
As we read Acts together, we’re memorizing Acts 2:37–41. This week, we’ll add verse 38. Revisit this verse each day and say it out loud a few times. See if you can recite both verse 37 and verse 38 from memory by the end of the week.
37 When they heard this, they were pierced to the heart and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brothers, what should we do?” 38 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, each of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 For the promise is for you and for your children, and for all who are far off, as many as the Lord our God will call.” 40 With many other words he testified and strongly urged them, saying, “Be saved from this corrupt generation!” 41 So those who accepted his message were baptized, and that day about three thousand people were added to them.

The words from this passage keep standing out to me…we are exhorted to save ourselves from this crooked generation…more timely in my lifetime it seems…knowing God’s word and His truth will filter out the false and perverse evil.
Amen

I’m missing church. We had an unfortunate take over (my words) and hurt feelings. I feel lost. Maybe the podcast. or online services will fill the void that this study has brought to light.
Hello Kimmie
I am so glad that you are here at SRT, this is a wonderful and safe place to be with lovely SRT sisters here to help pray for you and lift you up.
I am sorry that you are missing church due to an unfortunate circumstance. I understand hurt feelings and feeling lost due to that.
Yes, the podcast and online services will help you greatly in this time of unsureness.
This is the church I attend: https://cclburg.com/
The preaching is great and follows the Bible – chapter and verse.
I do not know where you live but see if there is a Calvary Chapel there.
Praying for you Kimmie that God will hold you in His righteous right hand and comfort you and give you peace.
May He bless you and your family greatly during this time of change.
❤️
I love the memory scripture
@Victoria thank you for praying for my son.

Shelly Arthur and Rhonda J praise God! So happy to hear this wonderful news !
@Shelley Arthur, this is beautiful.
@Beverly, it may not be 1:30am here in California but I’m up on this beautiful Sunday morning doing the same thing. Trying to memorize. Happy birthday to your daughter. I had to chuckle because my youngest brother just turned 48 and he’s the youngest of six.
So encouraging, Shelley Arthur, as we continue to pray for those who need Jesus.
WHITNEY AUTUMN – praying for you!
Glory to God for this Good News! ♥️
Beverly Watley—a blessing to rejoice in! Many don’t live to see their children grow old. My MIL didn’t see any of her children turn 35, and she met only 1 of her 8 grandchildren. Shelley ARTHUR—Thank you for the reminder of God’s faithfulness in pursuing us. Blessed Resurrection Day, sisters!
Repent and receive…I need that daily. Thank you Father. In Jeaus name, Amen
Happy Sunday! I am so excited today to be going to a new church in person (with my husband!). I hope he will make a connection to want to keep going, although I do have a few on a list! But I have prayed to find a home church since moving to our new home. Also, a praise, I was able to volunteer at a local food pantry this week and had such a good time and plan to participate every week! I just want to be able to shout out the name Jesus from the rooftops! Have you ever been that high on Jesus?! Have a good day friends!
❤️
Have a blessed Lord’s Day!
This is the day that the LORD has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it!
