Mark 10:43-45

Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry the good news of Jesus with us wherever we go.

This week, we will memorize the last verse in Mark 10:43–45. Write verse 45 down a few times on a piece of paper. Then read the full passage aloud, meditating on these words from Jesus.

“On the contrary, whoever wants to become great among you will be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you will be a slave to all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
—Mark 10:43–45

As a child I was raised Catholic.
I have beautiful memories of Palm Sunday. The whole church would be decorated with palms everywhere and we would all receive a palm branch. I thank God now as grown-up and part of the evangelical church I understand this more and so meaningful. And I still have those visions as a child of palms everywhere. And I’m even more thankful for what Jesus did for you and I at the cross. Happy Sunday to you all my beautiful sisters.

“Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord – the King of Israel!” John 12:13
Celebrating Palm Sunday and praying for all y’all my sisters in Christ. I’m especially lifting up those in the southeast of the U.S. where there’s so many storms bringing flooding & tornadoes. May the LORD bless & keep you and your families safe.
