Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry the gospel with us wherever we go.
This week, we will memorize the key verse for this reading plan, a reminder of who Christ is and the hope we have in Him.
The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact expression of his nature, sustaining all things by his powerful word.
Hebrews 1:3a

And to believe I almost skipped this day! I would have missed out on this amazing verse!
To know Who Jesus is, is to Who God is.
Getting ready for church this morning. The sun is highlighting all the colorful leaves, and all the dog nose prints on my window.☺️ l love Sundays where I spend all day praising God and spending many hours with my brothers and sisters in Christ. I see his love in our church services and how many use their gifts to make it a special day in worship to God. I’m part of a special song today. My husband will offer a devotion he has been praying about all week; then we will visit those who are unable to join us today. This is your day Lord..
I appreciate your insight Churchmouse as I thought about what you said with each part of the Bible bringing out different parts of the Trinity. That is so true! A way that helps me conceptualize the Trinity is by looking at a triangle which is not a triangle without it’s three corners. Each is part of the whole. God above us, Christ among us, the Holy Spirit within us. Amen.
Amen!
I love this sentiment, Churchmouse. Indeed, there are many aspects of God that are hard to grasp, but we accept Him by faith. We place our trust in Him, and we surrender ourselves to Him. And by these actions the Holy Spirit fills our souls. What an incredible gift we’ve been blessed to receive!
I’m watching the sun rise and I can see the glory of the Lord on full display. God kisses this new day as good and I see His love and care for His creation. I open my Bible to study His Word and I see God the Father predominantly revealed in the Old Testament. I see Jesus predominantly revealed in the Gospels and I see the Holy Spirit predominantly revealed in Acts and the Epistles. Three yet one. Indeed all three crisscross through all of Scripture. None more than or less than the other. Equal in power and personhood. The Trinity is a hard concept to grasp yet I accept it by faith. Grateful that the God of all creation desires to have a relationship with me.
Amen!!
Amen! Beautiful.
