Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry the gospel with us wherever we go.
This week we will memorize the key verse for this reading plan.
“But an hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in Spirit and in truth. Yes, the Father wants such people to worship him.”
—John 4:23

‘True worshipers will worship the Father in Spirit and in Truth’. I don’t know why that one part hits me but it does. Going through the motions of worship isn’t worship at all. It’s just doing it without any emotion or feeling but to truly worship with spirit and truth through you… that should be how we treat worship. Through spirit and truth with one or more gathered
DAY 7: Today in church let’s be true worshippers and praise God with our complete heart and soul!
I love what my worship pastor teaches on this verse. It’s actually our team’s memory verse. The Father is seeking worshipERS . He is seeking people.
If our worship is a show only…and isn’t based on truth…then it isn’t worship.
Yes!
Amen ♡
My pastor preached on praying persistently today. I continue to pray persistently for my sister!
AMEN! I couldn’t put it any better Sue, and Churchmouse. May all my sisters here SRT have a wonderful Sunday as we worship the one true God.
Yes Jesus I want to worship you in all I say and do. With my thoughts and actions-to be more like you
As Amanda asked on Monday:
“How do we worship with a heart tuned to the Spirit of the Lord and tethered to the truth of His Word?”
Let’s worship Him in song.
Let’s worship Him in service.
Let’s worship Him in obedience.
Let’s worship Him in gratitude.
May our worship be a part of who we are every moment of every day and may God be glorified.
❤️❤️
The hour is now here. The Father desires true worship. The question is (isn’t it always?) will I be obedient? Will I worship Him today in Spirit and in truth? Let my worship not be less than He desires, nor less than He deserves.
Amen!
