Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry the gospel with us wherever we go.
This week we’ll memorize a portion of the prayer Solomon prayed at the dedication of the temple in Jerusalem on day 44.
May all the peoples of the earth know that the LORD is God. There is no other!

I love this scripture. It’s so timely as it ties in incredibly well with the sermon I heard this morning. Upon initial thoughts we probably think of it as face value, no other God’s out there (ie, other religions of the world aside from Christianity). But in many ways we all have worldly thrones/false idols we worship as God. Whether it be social media, over spending, unhealthy addictions, etc. I saved this scripture to help me to remember not to be caught up in the worldly things that can sometimes take the place of God and to continue to worship and praise the ONE and ONLY God, our savior and maker.

Rejoicing with you over your son’s decision and thanking God for his pastor /mentor!
My son came home yesterday from camp. He went as a super senior which only if you get to go. This mama‘s heart is so filled with joy. He got baptized there. I’ve been praying for him to get baptized. He kept holding off because he thought he had to be a better person but I would always remind him we will never be perfect. Jesus graciously accepts us right where we are. I prayed all week. Hume Lake Wildwood is my sons most happiest place on the earth! I am so filled with joy that this is where he got baptized and that his youth pastor of the last four years was the one that baptized him. My son has had the most amazing godly pastor these past four years. He has walked this life’s journey with my son right next to him. I am blessed.
There is no greater joy. I rejoice with you
