Day 21

Weekly Truth

from the Revelation reading plan

Revelation 21:6

BY She Reads Truth

Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry the gospel with us wherever we go.

This week we will memorize the key verse for the book of Revelation.

Then he said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end.”
—Revelation 21:6

    You are Alpha, THE Beginning.
On a smaller scale you allow us beginnings too
newborn people, animals, relationships, hopes, flowers, ideas, dreams
You are Lord of them all.
A gift? A smattering of You in our souls, all these beginnings?
    So many endings,
school years, projects, seasons, plans, lives,
A gift? Each part given meaning when done, lived for You and Your glory
You are Lord of them all.
    You are Omega, THE End.
Hemmed in from beginning to end by You,
    by your Love.

Thank you Lord for your Revelation.
    Thank you Lord.

It has inspired me to keep being intentional in loving all those God places in my path. forgiving as Jesus has forgiven us. We do want things to end well and to hear the words “Well done. good and faithful servant.” Have a blessed Sunday!
