2 Samuel 22:36

Memorizing Scripture is one of the best ways to carry God-breathed truth, instruction, and reproof wherever we go.

As we read through 1 & 2 Samuel together, we are memorizing five pivotal verses from these books. This week’s verse rejoices in God’s sure protection and help.

You have given me the shield of your salvation;
your help exalts me.
-2 Samuel 22:36

We want to be a community that is intentional about Scripture memorization. Will you join us?

    So grateful I have the shield of salvation. Whatever the worse that Satan throws, He cannot touch the core. Salvation is mine. Though death comes and Satan thinks he’s won , I live because I am saved. Satan can’t penetrate that shield – ever.

      Churchmouse, you always hit it right on the nail. Thank you for that insight. Yes, salvation is mine no matter what life throws at me. Trust me I’ve had a lot of blows in the last month in a half. So, so grateful for ALL of you here at SRT. You all inspire me.
