I love this verse in its context:
21 Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”
22 When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth.
23 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Truly I tell you, it is hard for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven. 24 Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”
25 When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, “Who then can be saved?”
The camel shrinks. The needle grows larger. The camel comes apart, cell by cell, passes through the eye, and reforms on the other side. Who knows… but ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!
Today, I am thankful that nothing is impossible. Today, I am thankful for things beyond comprehension.

A lovely verse to hold in my heart. I face one of my biggest life changes in a matter of weeks as my upcoming marriage approaches. I feel so many clashing emotions and fear that comes with uncertainity and change. I pray that I will find my purpose more fully in Christ, and rest in Him. He is the author and finisher of my faith.
Prayers for you and your upcoming marriage! I too am going to be married within the next week. It’s scary and exciting, but how wonderful that He will be with you as you tie the knot and move forward in life.
I’m a semi-newlywed, and I remember those feelings well. Keep clinging to the Lord and trusting Him as the foundation of your marriage. It only gets sweeter from here. :)
Praying for all of us who have impossibles in our lives – those people who are hardened against Christ and those circumstances that so overwhelm that we can hardly breathe. Praying to our great God who is more than able.
I want this truth to sink deep into my way of being. I don’t want to just intellectually assent that this is true but when rubber hits the road be more in fear than faith. I want to trust with all my being that God can truly do the impossible. It is my prayer that God sink this truth deeper and deeper into me.

I needed to be reminded of exactly this message today. I have a sweet friend in need of a new liver, and for a technical reason, does not qualify to be on the list to receive a liver from an organ donor. Our hope must be in God, that He will provide a living donor who is a tissue match from among friends and family. If not, she likely has no more than 3 years left with us on this earth. I had been feeling lost regarding what to pray for her. God will provide!

Today, I will need God’s strength as I set out to complete my first half marathon. I am feeling underprepared to conquer this course that is said to be challenging and filled with hills, but “With God all things are possible.” How wonderful it is that even though I am bound to fall short in my human abilities, God is always there to sustain me.
I felt the same way when I ran my first half marathon. But when my legs started to feel sore, and I felt like I couldn’t keep going, I remembered that God was right next to me and everyone else along the race, pulling us through. A dear friend of mine has done several marathons, and she recites the verse from Phillipians, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” to herself when she hits that runner’s “wall.” He will sustain you!
Wish I would’ve read this sooner because by now you probably already ran it. What a great feeling to cross the FINISH line huh? My motto is Philippians 4:13. I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. When I start to get tired I keep reciting this. Enjoy your day Tay!
All things are possible with God. when we call on God, He answers, let’s keep our eyes fixed on Jesus believing every word He has spoken concerning us.
