our redeemer lives (free printable)

Good morning, sweet Sisters!

Do you know what a blessing it is that you gather here each day? To us, to one another, to those whom we as a community will interact with throughout the day, and to the Lord! He is blessed by our gathering around His Word, coming together to honor Him first and foremost in our day and our lives (even if you’re reading this at night!).

You – this amazing and vibrant collective of women – are the heartbeat of SheReadsTruth, and we continue to be so grateful for you. With your prayers and your cheers, your gifts and your time, you are building up this community and each other. It is a beautiful thing to witness from our seats here on the front row.

Today, may we give you a tiny, happy something to say thank you? Thank you for showing up and showing others that the Gospel is true. You are evidence that our Redeemer lives, and He is at work among us even now. Amen?! #praisehands

We’d love for you to download this free printable of one of our favorite verses from The Risen Christ study. Simply click the image below and save the file to your computer to print and hang in your home or office or wherever you’d like.

Peggy, I heard in a Lisa harper study that even if you don’t have bio children, you can gave many spiritual sons and daughters and I bet you do! Hugs to you! Hope you see this.

Wow! First of all thank you SRT! God is transforming lives beacause of your faithfulness..including mine. I woke up in the middle of the night with a particular person from Instagram on my mind and have been praying for them. So strange. I really haven’t been interacting much with this girl from England but I just couldn’t get her off my mind. God is up to something! Then I remembered I hadn’t gotten time to do my She Reads Truth and He wouldn’t leave me alone until I got on and did it. Now I know why! It was to make sure I read Anna’s comment about the memory verses. Thanks dear one!

    My Redeemer LIVES.
    Redeem: verb
    1. to compensate for the faults or bad aspects of (something).
    2. to do something that compensates for poor past performance or behavior.
    3. (of a person) atone or make amends for (error or evil).
    4. gain or regain possession of (something) in exchange for payment.

These definitions… wow. I realize that I always try to compensate for my faults or bad aspects by using many things, from makeup (for acne/gross skin), to fake smiles or "trying extra hard next time/later" to try to make up for an emotional/spiritual failing earlier in the day.

But He is the redeemer. Not me. And not only that, but to redeem is to gain/regain possession of something in exchange for payment. The law of sin and death owned me, the world owned me, until the Lord re-bought me back from it all BY THE BLOOD OF HIS SON. I've been bought with a price! I am not my own! Lord, don't let me try to redeem myself, for it is then that I forget that I belong to you!! Praise you for the blood of your precious son, Dear Jesus!!! So beautiful. So enthralled and revived by this truth this morning!!

I have an overreaching, crazy love for all of you, girls. Today in my quiet time I was brought to tears to think of all of the past close friends I've had and all of their walks with Christ, and how He's continuing in them as He's continuing in me to do abounding, amazing things in and for His name. Here, as I type all this out, I realize just how diverse this community is as well, and how although we may have all different ages and apart of different locations/backgrounds/subcultures, our Jesus is continually growing us here TOGETHER and using us as valuable, beautiful parts of His beloved body. I am SO excited and grateful to have heard of so many of your girls' stories and testimonies through comments and blogs, and I'm excited to see what Christ has in store for us all as we continue in Him!! Wherever we go and wherever we've been, I realize we ALL have a long ways to go in this life, and that while we may have no idea how anything will happen/turn out, I (we) know that Christ will be here– that HE is the WAY! No matter the messes, the pain, the tumultuous events– He will be there. He is LIFE. Let us live in, with, and by Him today, proclaiming that TRUTH for all we interact with. Love, honor and praise to the King forever and ever!! He is worthy to be praised!! Hallelujah, El Shaddai! Praise you Abba! Praise you!!

Definitely printing out this BEAUTIFUL piece when I have the chance! and guys, I found an amazing scripture-memorizing community online: theversesproject.com. They create free printable art/wallpapers for your electronic device (whatever it may be), and it creates a song for each little bit of scripture they take on to help you memorize it by singing! So many of these songs have changed and deepened my walk with Christ– and their printable for Psalm 139:4-5 is BEAUTIFUL, totally printing it out along with this one!! I thought I'd share since it's so incredibly cool. have a blessed day, sisters! I hope reading my (daily, I get so carried away in my words and thoughts!) novel somehow encouraged you. ;) :)

"But He is the redeemer. Not me." always a reminder I need to hear : )

PS-thanks for sharing theversesproject.com !! I love new finds, and this one looks like a great one.

    2. Kari says:

AnnaLee, thanks for sharing theversesproject.com – singing is one of my favorite ways to memorize scripture. Several years ago I bought the Seeds CDs (Seed of Courage, Seeds of Faith, Seeds of Praise, etc.) on Amazon for my kids and like them so much that I still listen to them on my own even though my kids are grown. I find the songs come to mind just when I need them so I'm looking forward to having some new ones to draw from.

    3. Thanks AnnaLee for sharing and also Verses Project! I'm like Kari! … and that was a great point or insight (that jodimccoy commented too):
HE IS THE REDEEMER … not me… so I can lay down any struggle or prayers not being answered in my eyes of people's (loved ones) salvation, trust God and just let Him be the Redeemer He is … I stepped out of the picture so the Holy Spirit could work (than I worry but what if???) …well, this sums it up and answers it all… "He's the Redeemer, not me" and if I can just let my head and heart get this once and for all cuz HE certainly loves that person as much as I do and wants to see all saved … that none would perish … that means NOT ONE! Woo hoo!

Thanks again …sweet one! Sometimes you just point out such awesome points!

Blessings and everyone have a great weekend … enjoy your loved ones! (Since I'm not a biological mom, I tend to hide away on Mother's Day, which is tomorrow in Mexico and well, as you all know, SONday there … so I'll check out the Weekly Truth but be laying low! So blessed by SRT and this community.

      Peace and love in Christ,
      Peggy

Thank-you sooo much and thank-you SRT Team for all that you do for us women each day to bring us closer to The Lord……. All the Bible studies, Bible verses, lock screens (which I love by the way), and soooo much more to help all of us grow…… You have helped me understand Bible verses in a different way and have made them come to life in so many ways like I have never read them before but I know I have….. Thank you. Thank you also for helping me teach my toddlers about Jesus in a whole different way I have taught them about Jonah, being a vessel for Jesus, and just recently about how they too can tell people about the love of God (even though they are only two)………
