Matthew 6:10

Today, as a body of women, let’s meditate on and memorize God’s word. Not for our own glory or honor, but for the joy of our Father and the growth of His Truth in our hearts.

“Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”
Matthew 6:10

Good morning ladies. Blessings to u all.
I was thinking how many times I have prayed this prayer, ” thy will be done…
As a child I was taught and I memorized… I could reverb it at the drop of a hat.
As a young adult, and especially a mid adult I became so uncomfortable with “thy will be done”
Suppose his will is not mine? Lol. Wow growth, thank God for jesus. Today, today dear sisters I can finally say on the real! “Thy will be done! Cause I get it now. I receive it now! For he has been better to me than I’ve been to myself! His perfect will and love for me always takes me in direction I would not dare. Some rocky, some painful, some uncomfortable. But always great!

As with the prayer of Jabez, Lord bring it on. I know u know what’s best for me, I know u love me, I
know the plans u think towards me, they are always good, never evil. Today I will meditate on your word with no fear… thy will be done!
Sisters may the love of Christ Shine thru you on this Sunday!

The safest , most abundant, and freest place on earth or in heaven isn't a physical address at all. It is in the center of God's will! "There is a place of quiet rest, near to the heart of God." For all of you, SRT Sisters, for my family, friends, enemies, for all I pray that precious will of the sovereign Father may be yours today!

    1. That was almost my exact prayer this morning. I have a chronic illness and sometimes I just feel trapped physically until I sit with the Lord and realize that I am SO free! At the center of God's will is the only place real life and freedom that exists.

I thought ths beautiful verse would go so well with today's scripture. have a wonderful Sunday! It was on a John Piper devotion. I love the part " may they forget the CHANNEL, seeing only HIM!"

May The Mind of Christ My Savior by Kate Wilkenson

May the mind of Christ, my Savior,
Live in me from day to day,
By His love and power controlling
    All I do and say.

May the Word of God dwell richly
In my heart from hour to hour,
So that all may see I triumph
    Only through His power.

May the peace of God my Father
    Rule my life in everything,
That I may be calm to comfort
    Sick and sorrowing.

May the love of Jesus fill me
    As the waters fill the sea;
    Him exalting, self abasing,
    This is victory.

May I run the race before me,
Strong and brave to face the foe,
    Looking only unto Jesus
    As I onward go.

May His beauty rest upon me,
As I seek the lost to win,
And may they forget the channel,
    Seeing only Him.

Thank you for sharing that scripture. It's a beautiful thing that
we can freely go in and comfortably raise our prayers to God.

Oh, that you would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil.

Thank you for reminding me of the Prayer of Jabez, I used to pray it daily and somehow just stopped. I don't remember when or even why. I'm going to dust it off and start praying it daily again.

  7. Good morning precious and wonderful sisters, i sit here, in bed chuckling to myself, because after all that commotion on Friday(i still am uncomfortable with the old testament, ok some aspects) God reminded of of Jabez this morning, That wonderful 4.5.6.lines bout the goodness of our God.
    1 Chronicles 4:9-10 GNT

There was a man named Jabez, who was the most respected member of his family. His mother had given him the name Jabez, because his birth had been very painful. But Jabez prayed to the God of Israel, “Bless me, God, and give me much land. Be with me and keep me from anything evil that might cause me pain.” And God gave him what he prayed for.1chronicles4:9-10.
Dearest and most sovereign God, i dare to pray boldly today for your blessings, abundant BLESSINGS on us all and our families and friends. Thank you Lord God that you prompted of this morning about Jabez and that great story of how you bless even when all is stacked against you. AMEN.
Be truly blessed ladies. Happy Sunday. X
