SO – how is everyone liking the prayer reading plan?
We are loving it so much.
It’s different, right?
No bible study or extra reading.
Everyone having the ability to hear their own thing and interpret the scripture and it’s significance in our prayer lives however the Spirit leads.
As a team, we love that there is absolutely nothing wrong with learning from one another and learning from the wisdom that God has given each other. Not only is there nothing wrong with it, it’s how God designed us and it’s really what holds this website together. The beautiful fact that God made us feel better when we’re together.
But what we love about this prayer plan is that is points out the real One we NEED communion with.
The fact that we long for company and people to speak into our lives is a direct result of how we’ve been made to crave relationship with our Father.
It is refreshing and good to read His word and just talk to Him.
And give Him space in our days and in our hearts to talk back.
Thank you for getting creative with us and getting quiet before Him with us.
Later this week we’ll read 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 so why don’t we just go one step further and memorize that bad boy.
Whatever we’ve got planned for the week, whatever trials or blessings befall us, whatever direction we need or comfort we long for –
here is the will of God in Christ Jesus for us.
Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing. Give thanks in all circumstances for this is the
will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
1 Thess 5:16-18 ESV
We are praying for you and praying WITH YOU.

Good post. I learn something more difficult on completely different blogs everyday. It is going to all the time be stimulating to learn content from different writers and practice just a little one thing from their store. I’d prefer to use some with the content on my weblog whether you don’t mind. Natually I’ll provide you with a link on your net blog. Thanks for sharing.

Reading each day is giving me the fulfillment I’ve been missing for a long time. I read in the mornings. I’ll now read throughout the day. Because by afternoon I feel less powerful as I do in the mornings, less joy after the day has started and my family and circumstances tempt me with anger, resentment and hate. Reading how God wants me to live and keeping it fresh in my mind is key for me. A constant reminder of how I should speak, act and love.
I was really panicking when I first started this study because I wasn't sure how I'd get along without guidance (which is how I've found I am able delve much deeper into Scripture) but I am ADORING the freedom of being able to take a personal take from it everyday which I sometimes struggled with in Surrendered Life. I can put these verses to every one of my issues and am able to find comfort in knowing that He is here for me in EVERYTHING.
This community has honestly changed my life.
This is the first study that I've participated in, and I really love it. I love seeing how others interpret things, without a devotional. I get so much from seeing how the passages lead others in their journey through scripture. Granted, I have to make a point to do the reading and journaling before I check out what others have gotten from it so I can get the most out of it. Very cool. :)
I confess, I do miss the extra devotional. I found they were just the right length and made it feel like a complete study to me. I still love this concept and thank you lovely ladies for bringing us together.
I do not have an iphone. I would like to put the weekly scriptures on my desktop background though so I can still memorize them. I have been creating my own in paint, just wondered if anyone else had ideas on how to create one.
Here is the correct link to my scripture screen for this verse! http://todaysmodernhousewife.blogspot.com/p/scrip…
I have really enjoyed this particular study. I love that it allows us to pull out what hits us individually, but what I really love is how it is exactly what I need each time I read. I have really been struggling with some things, and have been hanging on to my faith and hope by a thread. I have felt abandoned by God. But each day, it's like a message from God that he IS there, he IS listening, and he has NOT abandoned me. I don't know why my family is having to face the circumstances we've been facing for nearly seven years, but I am holding onto what little hope I have left that God will pull us through and make us stronger. I am holding onto God's promises, and trying to give thanks in ALL circumstances, even when we don't understand them.
I love the program with just scripture.
Hey ladies, give what you can and keep this family and young boy in your prayers? Share please!

I am new to the study and am very excited about it! Praying for the Holy Spirit to work in my heart and guide me through this — showing me truth about my heavenly Father and to encourage me to lay everything before the throne. The verse from 1 Thessalonians is such a great & timely reminder for me — holding on to that as I begin the week. Thankful that there is comfort & hope in God's sovereignty.
Welcome! So glad you're here! :)

Love this!! Thank you for sharing!
I really love this study too. I have never done a study that is just scripture, and I thought I might have trouble with it, but I have found that the Holy Spirit guides me more when there is no one else there to interpret it. I really love just journaling what I have learned and I look forward to each day and seeing what others have taken from it.
I'm loving it! This whole community has been such a blessing to me. Thank you so much for getting it going and to everyone who participates and comments and shares!
To be honest, I didn't think I was going to like this plan without the devotional guide, but as much as I still love a good devotional, I feel so free in reading the Scripture without someone else's voice guiding me through it. It's just me and the Holy Spirit guiding me and man, it's been amazing! Thanks for pushing us to do, give and be more!
I keep missing the scripture memory for each study. Where do those come up and how are they posted. If you do a study late, as I am for Soul Detox, how do you go back and find them? Be great to have this built in each week's app somehow in the future so as to not miss them later? LOVE these studies! Thanks for all the effort, attention, and maintenance of the site!
these are verses I needed this week.
Scripture Screen for this verse!

I saw this on Facebook earlier today and went "Wait, there's a new verse already?" Then I came over here and it all made sense. :)
Hey Megan! Not sure if that was the right link?
Oops! Thanks… Here is the right link. http://todaysmodernhousewife.blogspot.com/p/scrip…
I am being soooooo blessed by the weekly scripture memory !….anyone else?….for ever, I have been saying, I just cannot do it, but I decided to jump in and " do it together"…..and you know what?….for the first time in my life?….I have God's Word IN me!! :)
I edited the LOCK SCREEN a little. Here is the link again: http://iamadaughterofthemosthigh.blogspot.com/201…
Good job Hannah! Love it. Thank you!
Thank you Nancy! I love that you love it! ♥
This is a really great plan. It is indeed different from the previous two plans. I like how we are helping each other interpret the scriptures we read. As for the weekly truth memory verse, such a wonderful reminder that we should rejoice, pray and give thanks at all times! :) I made a lock screen for this week's truth and you can use it if you want to. :) God bless you Daughters of the Most High!

I am loving this! I lead a missions trip a few weeks ago and it was how to pray scripture, I am loving this study on prayer!
I read this yesterday in my Living the Surrendered Life reading plan, it has become my every day challenge!

I really enjoy this one. I love how it's just Scripture and no added words. :)
This is my first time experiencing a She Reads Truth study. I LOVE it. Love the community, love the daily connection to His word, love the freshness and realness of digging in each day. I never thought of myself as a "devotional" girl or a "prayer" girl for that matter and I crave this time each day. Thank you for listening to God and helping to start a movement!!
Yes, CRAVE is the word I'd use. Thanks!
