Nehemiah 9:17b

Today, as a body of women, let’s meditate on and memorize God’s word. Not for our own glory or honor, but for the joy of our Father and the growth of His Truth in our hearts.

“But you are a God ready to forgive, gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love, and did not forsake them.”
Nehemiah 9:17b

Help me Lord to become more like you, ready to forgive and not hold grudges. Help me to be gracious and merciful to those around me and to love as you love me and them. Thank you Father that you will never leave me or forsake me. Let me be a blessing to all those whom I come in contact today. Let them see Jesus in me and not just me….. I love you Lord. Oh what a beautiful morning! This is the day that the Lord has made and I shall rejoyce.

I must admit a little painful this morning but I woke up, therefore the possibilities are infinite!

    Praise ye the Lord!

“But you are a God ready to forgive, gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love, and did not forsake them.”

    Nehemiah 9:17b.

As I began to meditate on the word above I became so convicted. How ready are you to forgive?

Am I slow to anger? Or am I a hostage taker? My God the answers weren’t very pretty. Yes! Yes!

In many instances I have acted like Homeland Security with combatants sent to Guantanmo Bay (sorry 4wrong spelling), straight to jail like in monoply with the get out of jail option removed from the game.

Lord, Lord who am I this morning? Who have I allowed myself to become?

Dearest father it is not enough to be convicted, for now conviction must be followed with repentance. I know I must first forgive my self as you have already graceously done. Lord help me to incorporate these teachings into my character. Forgiving, aproachable, loving. As freely as you have given to others let me extend to my sister n brothers, for your glory. Amen.

SRT thank u for a very inciteful study this morning. Blessing ladies!

Well said Candace…I thank God for simply loving me! Knowing that he loves me and will never leave me is such a blessing and comfort especially when I’m feeling like I can’t make it anymore… Lord help me to be more like you in my everyday walk and talk.

  5. Candacejo says:

Thankful that He never forsakes us! His mercies are new every morning! Great is thy faithfulness!

No matter what I am going through He is there.

No matter how I feel about it, He is the same!

If I am afraid, He calms my fears.

If I have doubt, He can remove it!

If I feel like I cannot go on, He will give me the strength I need to place one foot in front of the other.

If my world is crashing in all around me He will remind me He has brought me through before and He will do it again!

Even if everyone else abandons me…my God will NOT leave me…His Word declares it and I can stand on that promise!

If my health fails me, the doctors can do no more, I still have a hope and it is not in this life but it is eternal…one of these days…I am going home….

    Be blessed today Sisters!
