Take each Saturday to catch up on your reading, pray, and rest in the presence of the Lord with passages from Scripture that we traditionally read during the Lenten season.
But as it is, Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead also comes through a man. For just as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.
—1 Corinthians 15:20–22

Have a wonderful day! I just joined She Reads Truth a few days ago and it has been such a blessing to get into God’s word each day. Cant wait to get my march devotional!
JENNIFER, welcome; so glad you joined us! This community is a tremendous blessing!
Yes! Welcome Jennifer! SRT was a tremendous blessing to my growth when I started reading my Bible daily over 11 years ago– to now! The studies are always good!
Amen
Grace Day … “Take each Saturday to catch up on your reading, pray, and rest in the presence of the Lord…”
How loving that each week SRT invites us into a “sabbath”. To refresh, renew, recharge from a world defined by strife, stress, insecurities.
A mini-“resurrection”.
A “free will offering”.
An honor to the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit.
Truly! ❤
Praying for you, Sue and Steve. ❤️
This song just came to mind…
Chorus
Thank you, Lord, for saving my soul,
Thank you, Lord, for making me whole,
Thank you, Lord, for giving to me,
Thy great salvation so rich and free.
Verse 1
Some thank the Lord for friends and home,
For mercies sure and sweet;
But I would praise Him for His grace,
In prayer I would repeat.
Love that song!!
❤
Praying for you Sue, and your precious Steve. May you feel God’s presence and our love.
Lauren, listened to and loved Undivided Heart!
Have a wonderful weekend sisters!
Yay! I’m so glad to hear this. Have a great weekend ❤️
Happy Saturday sweet She’s. Joining all-of-you in praying for our sweet GramieSue and Steve! Though I read through the scriptures yesterday and devotional, very briefly, I have do it again. (I keep typing and hitting the wrong key and get’s erased!) Sigh… I reached out to Rhonda early yesterday, as my mom was having a health issue and though my mom wanted to wait, I got up early to make a phone call to Kaiser. Her English is limited, but thankful for the advice nurse who spoke Spanish (this was going on at 5:00am) Thankfully she was seen (my auntie took her) and she’s doing well now. THIS morning is grateful to read: “…in Christ all will be made alive!!! “
❤️
What a relief! ❤

Great songs mentioned this morning and Tammi’s share immediately brought to mind another chorus (A newer hymn).
SONG SHARE:
1 God is so good,
God is so good,
God is so good,
He’s so good to me!
2 He cares for me,
He cares for me,
He cares for me,
He’s so good to me!
3 I love Him so,
I love Him so,
I love Him so,
He’s so good to me!
4 I praise His name,
I praise His name,
I praise His name,
He’s so good to me!

Happy Saturday She’s!
❤
I am just now catching up.
I am joining in prayer with you, ladies for all of the weeks requests.
I pray that you will enjoy some time fellowship with other believers this weekend. May His Name be glorified!
Good to see you! ❤
What an undeserved hope we have because of Jesus. Forgiveness, redemption and our Savior was always the plan. Thank you Lord for making a way, for remembering us, for so graciously loving us and that our hope and help rests in you. Amen

Amen! ❤
In the SRT guide, my response to Psalm 70:
Lord, I come to You asking for Your help and deliverance.
I bring my needs before You and trust that You hear my prayer.
.
Remember me in Your mercy, and help me remember Your faithfulness.
Turn back anything that seeks to harm me or lead me away from You.
Protect my life and guide my steps.
.
When others mock or judge me, remind me that my identity is found in You.
Do not let shame take root in my heart.
.
Instead, fill me with joy as I seek You.
Let my life and my words always say, “God is great!”
.
I know that I am needy and cannot do this on my own.
You are my help and my deliverer.
Come quickly to my aid, Lord, and keep my hope in You.
.
Amen.

Without Jesus, all is lost. Life would be a roll of the dice, do as you want in this short lifetime, then gone. Story over. This is how the majority live, and yes it is fine for awhile, even fun. But when the house of cards come tumbling down, we are lost.
If it’s all so good, why are drugs and alcohol a common theme everywhere we look? Anxiety and depression are so prevalent. Separated families and strife. Split marriages and single parents. Tired and weary. Disease and unexpected deaths.
No, I need my Jesus! I can’t do it on my own, and don’t wanna. Yet, he is not our genie, He is to be our Lord, Savior AND Master…Lord of our life. A relationship that is wanted and sought after. One that keeps us anchored!! Thank you Jesus for your goodness and love!!
The song..Goodness of God, and Good, Good Father both play through my mind. But as I woke this morning my song of the last few months is on repeat…
Jesus Have It All…Jeremy Riddle
Have a good wkd.
Praying for you GrammsieSue..I pray for you to be strong and know Jesus is there.
“Without Jesus, all is lost”
Amen, Rhonda. Praying for the vast number of people who don’t know that … yet.
Rhonda, thank you for this song today, “Jesus Have It All.” I hadn’t heard it before. I had a good cry as I released all my worries to Jesus our Lord!
❤️
Without Jesus…
Reminded of the hymn, Without Him.
Verse 1
Without him, I could do nothing
Without him, I’d surely fail
Without him, I would be drifting
Like a ship without a sail
Jesus
Verse 2
Without him, I would be dying
Without him, I’d be enslaved
Without him, life would be hopeless
But with Jesus, thank God I’m saved
Chorus
Jesus
Oh Jesus
Do you know him today?
Do not turn him away
Oh Jesus
Oh Jesus
Without him, how lost I would be
✨
Thank You, Jesus! ❤
He is not our genie! I love that! So true, Rhonda!!
❤️
I remember that song! I haven’t heard or thought of it in years. ❤️
The song that keeps coming to my mind as I have been reading the psalms is also a chorus we sang as children. I think it is by Seth and Bessie Sikes.
Thank you Lord for saving my soul,
Thank you Lord for making me whole,
Thank you Lord for giving to me, Thy great salvation so rich and free.
The tune comes to mind right away, even though I haven’t thought of this song in years, decades even. Thanks! ❤️
❤️
Wow! I remember that from my growing up years!
I for sure remember this song. Thank you for bringing it to mind Tammi.
Great chorus! ❤
One fine day, all who have died in Christ will rise to eternal life with Him. What better hope could we have.

GRAMSIESUE – praying for you and Steve!

KIM – praying the Lord gives you wisdom to navigate the loss with the boys.
Kelly, you had asked about Stacey last week! Thank you. She was expected to court next Thursday to see if she would get Prison or a in-home rehabilitation program. She found out yesterday they have moved up her court to Monday and she is expected to get released with drug court!!! This is so good that it’s not prison time…although, it creates a big problem of finding a new place to live now! She won’t go to the expected place, now she will have to stay in the county of the court. Please pray that God works this out somehow. It will be a more difficult road without the structured in-house rehabilitation.
Praying for God’s provision for Stacey’s housing.
Praying for Stacey!
Can she petition the court to go to rehab?
Either way may God get the glory
❤
Praying over these requests
Thanking and praising you Lord with a grateful heart for our salvation! For some reason a song from my kids’ VBS days is in my head today (an oldie but a goodie – my kids are now 30-somethings lol):
Lord I lift your name on high
Lord I love to sing your praises
I’m so glad you’re in my life
I’m so glad you came to save us
You came from Heaven to Earth to show the way
From the Earth to the cross my debt to pay
From the cross to the grave, from the grave to the sky
Lord I lift your name on high!
Quick update on my mom – she seems to be healing well from her fall. She also seems more at peace in memory care than she was earlier (that has been my prayer). It might be the progression of her dementia, but at least her anxiety seems to have lessened.
Thanks for the sharing the update about your mom.
Happy your mom is doing better!
I’m doing the hand motions to the song now lol. ❤️ love it! Praying for you mom Now❤️
Yes, I started doing the hand motions as well. :)
Me too! I remember those hand motions so well! It brought a smile to my face! ❤️
Me too! Love it!
Cat-tee, praying for you and your mom. My mom has dementia too. Praying for peace of mind for both our moms this morning.
Thankful your mom is doing better!
And I know the song but never learned any hand motions :/
Wow, another “oldie but goodie” song, haven’t sang that in years!
Praise the Lord for your mom’s healing and for being at peace where she is.
Love this song! We sing this in church!
Praying for your mom
Great song- we still sing it in worship services!
What an encouraging update on your mom. I know your heart feels relief! ❤
❤️
Thank you Lord that you always have and had a plan. You knew that Adam would sin. Thank you for Jesus. Thank you that sin doesn’t have to be the end of our story. Thank you that resurrection and eternal life with you is the end of the story. Thank you for rest, hope and victory.
Amen and amen!
That always is the question..Why did God still do it that way, knowing how it would all go?! And that he chose a special nation and people to be his…that constantly disobeyed, and then he generously accepted US, the gentiles…and yep…we are disobedient, spoiled children as well. Sigh! But we can look at our own children to see how this works. We love them so much, even when they scream and kick as toddlers, want to do it their way themselves as kids, sneak out at night as teens, drift away from us as young adults. And all the frustration in between! But OH- when they finally want to spend time with us because they love us…we delight with joy. (heart!)
Your comment brings to mind the song, “I’m Going To See A Victory. ❤️
Amen, Kacie! ❤
✨
Sharon mentioned a victory song in her reply. Made me think of Faith Is the Victory and Victory In Jesus, 2 hymns we used to sing regularly. ❤
