Thank you Father God, for sending your Son to be the Savior of the world. I am grateful beyond words!!

May each of us remember the reason for the season this weekend and coming week. We can get so bogged down by everything we think we have to get done, that we forget why we’re even doing it — to celebrate the birth of our Savior!! Praying God’s perfect peace, abundant joy and amazing love for each of us this season…and oh the hope we have in Him!

Happy Saturday sweet sisters! ❤️
Ladies, I have spent most of this morning trying to catch up…Satan has been attacking us Big lately.
I ended up camping on all of the comments from the day of Abunday Joy.
You ladies don’t realize how much you bless us when you share your comments on here!!!
I have been crying joyful tears as I was reading through everything.
Yes…But God!!!
We are not facing all these trials alone! He is with us! And I can see the goodness even in the mess!
Thank you all so much!!
Hugs and prayers lifted up for each of you!! ❤️
LOVE! Heart!
Isn’t that amazing?! How the scripture + God + devotion ++ comments enable us, and fill us!!? Encourage, and strengthen. THAT Is OUR GOD!!!
Love you bunches Sue!! Sending prayers your way!! Put on “Take It All Back” and turn it up!!
GramsieSue, I’m so sorry to hear that Satan has been attacking your family.
Praying that God will give you strength and wisdom as you face these trials. ❤️
Beautiful comments today! I agree that we must fight to not become lukewarm or complacent! Lord search my heart and show me where o need to lean into you more!
Thank you Father for sending your Son to save us!
Praying for all! Preying for Magdeburg Germany where this tragedy took place!
Amen ❤️
Fill me with Joy Lord.
Sharing partial lyrics for the old Charles Wesley hymn that came to mind when I read KELLY’S comment.
.
I read on Hymnary dot org that a gentleman commented to Wesley, “If I had a thousand tongues, I would praise Christ with them all.”
.
That was the inspiration for the first line of this great hymn. That is inspirational for us!
.
O, for a thousand tongues to sing
My great Redeemer’s praise
The glories of my God and King
The triumphs of His grace …
.
Jesus, the name that charms our fears
That bids our sorrow cease
‘Tis music in the sinner’s ears
‘Tis life, and health, and peace
.
He breaks the power of cancelled sin
He sets the prisoner free
His blood can make the foulest clean
His blood availed for me
.
He speaks, and list’ning to his voice
New life the dead receive
The mournful, broken hearts rejoice
The humble poor believe.
Great hymn that I had nearly forgotten!
Thank you ❤️
❤ Same! It just popped with Kelly’s phrase!
✝️❤
Thank you Father God for sending us your one and only Son because YOU knew we would never make it to Heaven otherwise! Happy Saturday sweet She’s!
❤
I was just getting ready to message you!lol Wondering if you had a good sleep in your first day of break!!
I did!!
Offering prayers for Magdeburg Germany where a Saudi drove through a huge crowd at a Christian Christmas market. He killed 11 people and injured 80. May God give comfort to those people. It is just horrific.
Oh, no! I had not heard about that. Thanks so much for sharing Traci. Praying for that community! ❤
Me either….praying now.
Can you imagine the overwhelming JOY the disciples had when they saw Jesus BACK, ALIVE, and WELL!!? They must have been in dumbfounded AWE, jaw to the floor, falling to the floor in shock–then jumping and overflowing with Joy!!
Then after ascending they went and shared, probably relentlessly sharing the same news to everyone they could—The KING, the Messiah CAME…! He was here, we saw, we knew–we KNOW! It must have been hard at that point–the questions- Well where is he now? Why did he leave? Why is there no change for us Jews under Rome still? How do us gentiles know any difference? How can we be sure, where’s the proof???
It was faith then, and it is faith now. It is knowing our old testament pointing to the Messiah throughout, and knowing the fulfillment in the new testament. It is putting the truth, layer upon layer in our minds and hearts. It is God transforming the knowledge and heart to a wellspring of life. Sitting with him daily in conversation, seeing the truth and miracles in front of us. And it is SO good, our Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love that we can’t contain it! We must give it! We must share it! Christmas is the time, yesterday was the time, and every day ahead of us! We are here for that purpose- to live for God and share the news of Jesus and his gift!
I hope we remember that, no matter what we are going through- people around us see what makes us tick, our center and purpose, our light. I hope it shines on that hill like a glorious beam of hope! Thank you Jesus, that I saw the light- I saw the lig-gh-t, I saw the Lig-gh-t!
Since Jesus came into my heart…. (That might be two separate songs..! lol)
Have a good last wkd before Christmas! Usually filled with family, shopping, plays, cookies, wrapping! It feels funny with just my husband and I, with nothing going on, but church will be a beautiful morning praising and worshiping and maybe a Christmas movie tonight.
Prayers for all my She’s and sending love and hugs to each!
I love your enthusiasm and excitement!! It is contagious. Having grown up in the church and being surrounded by Christian family and friends, I must admit I’ve grown complacent about my faith. But what good news it is!! I need to share it with people I encounter, whether it’s at the grocery store or in my neighborhood.
Yes! That’s funny, because that’s where my thoughts started…so many lukewarm Christians when we should be OVERJOYED, not sure where it went!! I too grew up in a very lukewarm church that seemed to go through the motions! And lived like a Christ believer, but not a Christ follower! Now I want to live every step WITH his leading! With JOY! Thank you Barb for acknowledging my thoughts hit! Be empowered today and let it shine my friend!! YOU have a special personality meant just for his purposes! Isn’t that fabulous to know?!! Get out of the boat and step out in faith! Pray to God..What do you have for me? I am ready, use me Lord! Thank you Lord for blessing Barb today!! (for some reason I feel the Lord impressing on me “nursing home.” Would that resonate with you?)
When I read your comment I thought, “I need to ask Rhonda if I may share this in Sunday School.” ❤
Love this!!
Thank You, Lord for allowing my voice to be a part of the chorus that testifies “that the Father has sent his Son as the world’s Savior”!
.
MELANI – praying all went well with Antonio’s surgery.
.
Continuing to pray for those effected by the Wisconsin tragedy.
.
LANIE H – praying your brother surrenders his heart to Jesus.
THAT is a beautiful thought! Profound really!

Amen, Kelly! O, For a Thousand Tongues to Sing our great Redeemer’s Praise!
God thank you for sending your son as our savior! There’s such joy knowing we are in the season of waiting His second coming. Father while sometimes I want to rush the return so as to not deal with hard things you reminded me it’s your timing because you want more to come to you and know the Son’s salvation.
Thank you Father!

And we have seen and we testify that the Father has sent His Son as the world’ Savior. 1 John 4:14
I know this is true because I do not have to suffer the consequences of my sin. He offers me love, forgiveness, peace and joy. All I have to do is let Him. I pray that I surrender to Him each new day.
Wishing my sisters a joyful day ❤️
What a beautiful truth…we only need to receive to make it all right! simple but profound! It is a gift…take it, receive it! So beautifully simple.
Good Morning Shes
My takeaways from the week that was.
“Joy through salvation”…
He seeks & saves even spoiled, insecure, selfish me. How glorious to be fully known, yet completely loved. Thanks be to God.
“Joy through redemption”…
There are real life consequences for my poor decisions. But my duty & privilege is returning to His sheltering arms.
Thanks be to God.
“Joy through abundant life”…
He enables me to see His masterful hand at work. And it’s extraordinary.
Thanks be to God.
“Joy through rest”…
All I have to do is sit with Him. There’s no further proof, or truth.
Thanks be to God.
“Joy through humility”…
When I accept my own insignificance & incompleteness. That’s when He looms largest.
Thanks be to God.
Hoping, wishing, praying everyone a wonder-filled week’s end.
Thanks be to God.

Just as we celebrate birthdays, I wonder if Christmas isn’t a heart shift reminder of the reason for this season.. so we rejoice in the remembering WHOse birth began our journey towards salvation and redemption and our HOPE everlasting..

Praying for the wisdom, strength, endurance, guidance, patience, insight, love and kindness needed as some of us prepare for interaction with people we think of as difficult over the next couple of weeks.
.
Praying for comfort and peace in the hearts of those of us with empty seats – some for the first time and others seeing the empty space yet again.
.
Praying for those sisters who are far from family and friends, or are alone for other reasons – know that you are loved by us, and more importantly you are loved by God. Is there someone or somewhere locally that would be blessed if you reached out?
.
Praying for our caregiving sisters who are tired beyond words, please comfort and strengthen them, Lord!
.
Praying for those of us who will be traveling, for safety.

And we have seen and we testify that the Father has sent his Son as the world’s Savior.
—1 John 4:14
.
These words written and translated all those years ago still hold true today.. they were true yesterday, and you can bet your bottom dollar they will still be true tomorrow!
.
I want to own them, I want to speak them to those around me who have not quite seen the light. My testifying may not change their heart, but I am prayerful a seed will have been sown, on which they will ponder, often… until…
.
BUT GOD.
.
So, rejigging some words, this is my truth 1 Tina 1:1
.
And I, Tina, have seen, boy, have I seen, and I can testify that the Father, God, has, and did send his Son, Jesus, as the world’s Savior. I know this, because He has and continues to save me!!
.
BUT GOD.
Thank you Father God, Thank you.. Amen.
.
