Grace Day

Open Your Bible

Revelation 22:5

Take this day to catch up on your reading, pray, and rest in the presence of the Lord.

Night will be no more; people will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, because the Lord God will give them light, and they will reign forever and ever.

    Prayer request:

Please join me in prayer for my friend Isabel. Her husband is filing for divorce after the birth of their first child only 4 months ago. His parents are likely involved, as they are not believers and have been trying to create division in their marriage since they moved in with them. My friend Isabel is now at her parents. Her husband basically is bullying her into seeing the baby every day.. so the little one is being carted back and forth every day just so he can see her and not have to split custody. My friend Isabel wants the marriage to be reconciled… but he has a lawyer (his parents are very wealthy) and is pushing for it. They were in love and there is no call for this divorce. It seems like the enemy has somehow created a spirit of delusion, because her husband is a believer… raised Jewish, yet was baptized in 2021…

Please pray for this marriage to be reconciled, and Benjy, her husband to come to his senses.

Thank you. There are more details but for the sake of privacy, I will keep it this. I also am considering changing my name on her for privacy. Will go by Michelle P moving forward after knowing people can find this page if they Google me. This is formerly Michelle P – (—atire)

SO BLESSED by the 2 songs shared by SEARCHING and RHONDA J!!! I had never heard either song. Now I am sharing one by Chris Tomlin that also fits our reading and that I hear a lot on the radio:

    HOLY FOREVER

    (Holy)
    (Holy)
A thousand generations falling down in worship
To sing the song of ages to the Lamb
And all who’ve gone before us and all who will believe
Will sing the song of ages to the Lamb
    Your name is the highest
    Your name is the greatest
Your name stands above them all
    All thrones and dominions
    All powers and positions
Your name stands above them all
    And the angels cry holy
    All creation cries holy
    You are lifted high, holy
    Holy forever
If you’ve been forgiven and if you’ve been redeemed
Sing the song forever to the Lamb
If you walk in freedom and if you bear His name
Sing the song forever to the Lamb
We’ll sing the song forever and amen
    And the angels cry holy
    All creation cries holy
    You are lifted high, holy
    Holy forever
    Hear your people sing holy
To the King of kings, holy
    You will always be holy
    Holy forever
    Your name is the highest
    Your name is the greatest
Your name stands above them all
    All thrones and dominions
    All powers and positions
Your name stands above them all
    Jesus
    Your name is the highest
    Your name is the greatest
Your name stands above them all (oh, stands above)
    All thrones and dominions
    All powers and positions
Your name stands above them all
    And the angels cry holy
    All creation cries holy
    You are lifted high, holy
Holy forever (we cry holy, holy, holy)
Hear your people sing (we will sing) holy
To the King of kings (holy), holy (holy is the Lord)
    You will always be holy
    Holy forever
    You will always be holy
    Holy forever

  10. Cheryl Blow says:

So thankful for this promise that one day there will be no darkness. But until then, I pray that I can shine the light of God’s love to those around me!

  11. Cee Gee says:

    2 Peter 1:16-21
For we did not follow cleverly contrived myths when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ; instead, we were eyewitnesses of his majesty. 17 For he received honor and glory from God the Father when the voice came to him from the Majestic Glory, saying “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well-pleased!” 18 We ourselves heard this voice when it came from heaven while we were with him on the holy mountain.

******19 We also have the prophetic word strongly confirmed, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and

the morning star rises in your hearts.******

20 Above all, you know this: No prophecy of Scripture comes from the prophet’s own interpretation, 21 because no prophecy ever came by the will of man; instead, men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

SEARCHING – ❤ ❤ Continued prayers and love! Thanks for those lyrics! I am going to listen to that now along with the song RHONDA J ❤ mentioned.

  12. Kelly (NEO) says:

    One day, Lord. One day.

LYNNE FROM AL – what fantastic news abot Gina. Continued prayers for God’s tangible presence for you and Jack. May the Lord shed His mercy on you both.

    SEARCHING – sorry about Shannon’s mom. :-(

RHONDA J – praying that God strengthens your back for the day.

Praying for the other requests too.

  13. Ada McCloud says:

    Amen

  14. Colleen DeVeau says:

A friend of mine passed from here to heaven on Thursday the 18th (along with Mandisa), and I have had such comfort in knowing that her life of pain management is over. She is free. Night is no more. Pain is no more. The glory of God lights her every moment. I’m so grateful, and I dream of the day this will be our reality, too.

  15. Sharon, Jersey Girl says:

    Amen. ❤️

    Good Morning She’s!

Searching- One of my favorites songs! We play that at Jail Ministry a lot! Stacy and I were singing “Roar” by Elevation Worship so loudly in the car yesterday, it was so warm and fuzzy!

We were able to share our stories and I prayed for her. I am going to go tomorrow and take her to our church, unfortunately she is quite a distance from “my” church, but we are going to the other campus near her. It will at least help her know where it is and hopefully go on her own. She did get the job she interviewed for Thursday and starts Monday. I know it will be hard, but she seems to want nothing to do with her old world, but we know we can talk a big game, but the devil and flesh is quite intoxicating.

My back is really bad this morning, which is never good when it’s usually at it’s best after laying and relieving the impact. :( I get to meet with my ladies this morning though to finish our study.

@Lynn- reading your post yesterday breaks my heart. Prayers for you, my friend. I can’t imagine all the feelings and hard that comes with where you are.

SRT is such an important part of my life and daily connection to the Lord. He shows me so much through each of you. What a community! I have been here for 10 years now…pretty much reading through the scripture and devotional, and with ya’ll every day. It is a game changer in your faith life!

  18. Searching says:

During our hardest of days, sisters, we have the glory of the Lord and eternal life with Him in heaven as our future and His sustaining love and strength here on earth. As today’s Scripture says, we won’t need the light of a lamp or light from the sun as God will provide … then and now. Hallelujah!

LYNNE FROM AL – praying, sister, for the Lord’s mercy, grace and strength in this difficult and painful time. Praying for His comfort and pain relief for Jack. Sending so many hugs your way, love you. ❤️

Praying for all of our caregiving sisters – LINDA IN NC, NANCY S, GRAMSIESUE and others.

MERCY – praying for safe travels and a drama free trip, peace in your heart and mind, calm in the strangeness and tiredness of travel for your littles.

CEE GEE ❤️ thank you for the Mandisa song lyrics, that was sad news last week.

RHONDA J – praying for pain relief. May the Lord bless you in mentoring Stacy, may she feel His strength and presence as she turns to Him.

KELLY (NEO), CEE GEE, AZ WALKER, MICHELLE PATIRE and others praying for Shannon’s family – thank you ❤️

These words from Make A Way by Elevation Worship touched my heart last week ❤️

    I know You’ll come through
    This mountain is moving
I fix my eyes on You
If You said it, You’ll do it

Because You are God, no matter the odds
The outcome is always the same
The words on the pages, the promise You made us
    Still have the final say
You will make a way, You always make a way
You will make a way, You always make a way

    I won’t fear tomorrow
    ‘Cause You’re already in it
    My hope and my future
    Is already written

    Because you are God …
