Good news, KATIE MEGEE! Praise Him, and thank you for the quick update.
And LANIE… thank you also for sharing. Such encouragement…
@Tami C, I have been praying for Chela the last couple of days. Your prayer requests stuck out to me because my mom could’ve written the same posts about me 10 years ago! So so thankful for how God has used counseling in my own life, and so thankful to hear your girl took those brave steps to give it a try! Praying for peace and comfort for both you and your daughter.
P.S. Music brought a lot of comfort to me in that season. “Come to Me” by Jenn Johnson/Bethel and “Fear Not” by Kristene DiMarco were played on repeat!
MARI V – I love acapella so I am about to go listen to that version! Thanks!
DEE DEE – ❤
Dee Dee, thank you for sharing that. Deepest condolences, but also praises for the gift of your daughter. ❤
LANIE – Love verse 24, too! And your comment. What a blessing for your friend! Prayers for you in the perplexed stage. ❤
RHONDA J – ❤
KATIE MEGEE – What PRAISEworthy news!!! Thank you for sharing so quickly! ❤
Katie, awesome news!
Oh she’s. How wonderful it is to hear the answered prayers. I have one to share today, my sweet friend who lost a baby posted that she had a healthy baby girl last week. I have prayed for her in the midst of my waiting season (we had miscarriages within a year of each other) and it has brought me so much joy. For other sisters in waiting seasons like me, I love the next line of this verse, Lamentations 3:24 NIV
[24] I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.”
We are not like those waiting without hope. For we remember the Lord’s faithfulness. We have the evidence in this comment thread. And we know he will be faithful tomorrow. I keep holding onto we are perplexed but not in despair. My heart and prayers for all of you in the “perplexed” stage. I’m with you. He’s with us.
GM-Happy Saturday She’s!
It’s been a great week of learning and embracing God’s scriptures! May we continue to grow and relax in His love and promises! I am excited to go to first group this morning to discuss Put On Your Warrior Boots..by Lisa Whittle! It fires me up to not be lukewarm in my faith..and to live with purpose and being prepared!!
Well I am home now, and I see I didn’t even push enter this morning! Group went well, it is always a delight to sit at Panera, outside in cool SW Florida weather…and talk and discuss living for the Lord! I am so happy I have so many different ways to grow and expand, learn, fail, and try again. Love you all and always praying for the needs!
Praising God everywhere I can today! Yesterday was my surgery and biopsies and I am cancer free! His healing in His timing according to His plan. I am so thankful that He chose to do it this way at this time. Praise be to God! Help me keep my eyes fixed on You and the tasks you have ahead for me!! Thank you Jesus ❤️ God, remember our future!!
I love these verses and the hymn, Great is Thy Faithfulness. I grew up in the church so I knew the words, but after my son Christian died they became extra special. Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow, that helps in so many situations doesn’t it?? Great is His faithfulness! Christian was hit by car when he was not quite 3 years old. Our son was 9 months old at the time and we weren’t planning anymore children. God blessed us with a sweet daughter after Bob had his vasectomy reversed. You can’t replace one child with another but we were glad to welcome a new baby to our family. That was back in 1990 but sometimes seems like yesterday. My heart goes out to you she’s that have also lost children, Traci, Tina and Mia that I know of and there may be others. Hang on to hope and God’s faithfulness. Sorry for the long post, I tried to answer some questions I thought you might have. Peace and love to you all
CEE GEE, thank you for the beautiful hymn. Brought back memories of the one by Gary Chapman from the the late 80’s early 90’s. I’m listening to it now. He sings it acapella.
Lamentations 3:22–24 (CSB):
Because of the Lord’s faithful love
we do not perish,
for his mercies never end.
23 They are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness!
24 I say, “The Lord is my portion,
therefore I will put my hope in him.
So grateful for his mercies that are new every morning.
…His mercies never end. Thank you Jesus! Our God, Our Jesus remains the same, yesterday, today and FOREVER!! Happy Saturday sweet She’s! Going to go back to read your comments and pray for each and everyone of you! I have a busy weekend. I picked up some extra hours and will be working this morning at our school’s open enrollment meeting. Its such a GORGEOUS morning that I’m walking to and from.
Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed,
Because His compassions fail not.
23 They are new every morning;
Great is Your faithfulness.
I often greet God with v. 23 upon awaking in the morning. His compassions (PLURAL) never end; they are new every morning ( He knows what we need for the day!) and He is FAITHFUL to supply it!
How great is our God?!
Jeremiah 29:11-13 is the verse of the day on Biblegateway and perfect for the end of this week’s reading.
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.”
May we each truly seek HIM (not earthly desires) with all of our hearts.
LINDA IN NC – Thankful the doctors found that and took quick action! Praying for the med to dissolve any other clots and praying for you and your niece in the waiting! Please keep us posted. Love you! ❤
SARAH D – Thanks for the update!I was going to tag you this morning! Praising God for lifting that burden from your heart and praying for discernment with any new relationship ❤
MARIA B – Awesome news! ❤
RACHEL – Praying with you that the polyp is benign! Thankful you took care of that! I have had those removed before, but this year there were none. Praise God! ❤
TINA – my sister across the pond – boatload of hugs to you! (❤) (❤)
ADRIENNE – I totally get that! We don’t have God’s capacity for forgetting, but we can choose not to ‘remember in vengeance’. As SEARCHING and TINA said we just don’t let it produce bitterness. ❤
MICHELLE PATIRE – I didn’t listen to it, but saw in an email that Jennifer Rothschild had Christian Bevere ( daughter of Lisa Bevere) on her 4:13 podcast talking about letting go of shame. I thought that very timely!❤
THERESA – Praying for a restful weekend for all of you, especially ARLO! ❤
SEARCHING – Armies (and others’ ARMY of prayer warriors – yes, love that!!! Love you sister! ❤ live your hymn choice! I was reminded (again) of
GREAT IS THY FAITHFULNESS (1st and 3rd verses and chorus:
Great is thy faithfulness
Oh God my father
There is no shadow of turning with Thee
Thou changest not
Thy compassions they fail not
As Thou hast been
Thou forever will be
Pardon for sin
And a peace that endureth
Thine own dear presence
To cheer and to guide
Strength for today
And bright hope for tomorrow
Blessings all mine
With ten thousand beside
Great is Thy faithfulness
Great is Thy faithfulness
Morning by morning
New mercies I see
All I have needed
Thy hand hath provided
Great is Thy faithfulness
Lord unto me
Love each of you sisters and following your prayer needs! ❤
Praise for new mercies and grace everyday from the One who died for us! Hope you all have a blessed weekend here and across “the pond”! But God…
Never. Never. Never. Never. Never.
Blessings on your Saturday, sweet She’s!
Because of the Lord’s faithful love we do not perish, His mercies never end!
Because of Who God is, we have grace and mercy extended to us. So thankful for His faithful love. I can’t imagine where I would be without Him.
Thank you ladies for making such nice neat prayer lists that I can pray through for everyone! What a blessing you all are to me!
Good morning ladies! I am doing a Bible reading plan with my church, but I love coming back here to read the prayer requests. Love that we can share each others burdens and pray for each other!
I know some of you have been praying for me and the guy I was interested in. The last couple weeks the Lord helped me to let go of him, because I was realizing that I liked a guy who was not pursuing me – and I feel I should not waste time on a guy who is not reciprocating interest. Thankful the Lord answered my prayer and helped me let go. So, when I let go of him, essentially the next day I began to realize there is a guy at church who goes to our young adults group and my adult Sunday school…and I think he is pursuing me. I can think back to times when he asked me a question specifically or came to talk to me in group settings…So, we will see! Praying for peace and wisdom, and that if a relationship does come, that we would look back and say, “Only God could have done that.” Thankful for all the Lord is teaching me!
Prayers for all requests and for those unspoken. So thankful for this group! Blessings!
So grateful to hear my words blessed you ladies! I must admit, my pastor did a series recently and his sermon on letting go of shame really impacted me. I was not forgiving myself for the 20+ years I felt I “wasted” because I wasn’t close to God (though I believed in Him). I was kicking myself because I had so many opportunities to share His love with others in my youth, but instead I was so self-absorbed. I would apologize to God when I thought about it. And it is sad! But God brought it to mind and told me to let that shame go, He isn’t holding those years against me. Crazy! 20+ years… God, Your grace is sufficient. Thank you for your mercy… Without your love I am utterly helpless. That is real love… Taking on the sin of someone’s past and never looking at it, again…
❤️ happy Saturday. May the Lord be near to us as we venture forward in loving obedience.
@Linda in NC- the Lord be near to you and your sister & niece. May He give wisdom and a sound mind to those involved. May His peace be present. ❤️

I have to give myself a “talking to” many times to take a good look at what I’m hanging on to and ask, is it really that important – do I want to keep dragging it around and letting it drag me down? Here’s the hymn that came to mind this morning – it’s probably been 20 or more years since I’ve heard it.
Revive Us Again
We praise Thee, O God, For the Son of Thy love
For Jesus, who died and is now gone above.
Chorus:
Hallelujah! Thine the glory! Hallelujah! Amen!
Hallelujah! Thine the glory! Revive us again.
We praise Thee, O God, for Thy Spirit of Light,
Who has shown us our Savior and scattered our night.
Chorus
All glory and praise to the Lamb that was slain,
Who has borne all our sins and has cleansed every stain.
Chorus
Revive us again; fill each heart with Thy love.
May each soul be rekindled with fire from above.
Chorus – repeated many times in that little country church years ago
Because of the LORD’s faithful love
we do not perish,
for his mercies never end.
—Lamentations 3:22

I Praise and glorify your name, Lord God. Thank you..
BUT GOD..

BUT GOD..
HAPPY SATURDAY MY DEARS.. WRAPPED IN LOVE, and covered in PRAYERS. ❤
Good morning, sisters! I wanted to take a moment to say thank you for all the prayers for my interview to go well. I read every comment before the interview, and was actually overwhelmed by your support. I love this community. The initial interview went well. And I have a good feeling about making the next round. So, thank you again for your generosity of spirit. Sending much love to all, and many prayers too— from healing to restoration, I keep you in my prayers.
