Thank you for all the prayers for Kailand. His mom posted late last night:

“Kai is done with surgery!!! Dr Haw said things went very well! No repairs were needed to airway- just cleaning up old scar tissue.
His vent settings decreased from 14 to 8 !!
He is still very fragile and the next 48 hrs are critical. Lots of ups and downs expected.
His chest is still open and packed to help with bleeding — and they hope to close him up this weekend.
Thank you for covering us with prayers thus far, keep the prayers coming!! ♥️♥️.”

This has been a great study!

Joining TINA in my heart being warmed by this verse. Reconciliation is a hard thing for me (particularly if I’m the one to start the process), and typically that just means taking a deep breath, choosing to move past an issue, praying the Lord will help me truly forgive and then extending an olive branch or starting a conversation.
Thinking about the history this verse represents … the forgiveness, mercy and grace God gave time and again, for years, thousands of years, before He gave His only Son as the ultimate, once for all, path of reconciliation to Him. wow.

    Praying for:
ADRIENNE – for the words needed. One viewpoint that comes to mind – perhaps the enrollment dollars are subsidizing the church’s preschool ministry, rather than the church subsidizing your salary. Thank you for your work with these children and the work you’ve done to help establish a foundation of truth and God’s love in their hearts.
MOLLY R – you and your husband
MICHELLE PATIRE – thankful your car passed inspection. Praying for you and your family.
    DONNA WOLCOTT – safe travels
MARI V – that the love you have for these children shines through

CINDY HANNA – thank you for your testimony yesterday
TRICIA C – Christian freedom = Christian responsibility. Food for thought, thank you.
MERCY – good to see you! Added your insights to my notes :)
CEE GEE – in reading again what you shared yesterday, the word “decision” keeps coming back to me. “ biblical love is the decision to ….” May I, with the Lord’s help, choose/decide to show Christ’s love, no matter how I’m feeling or what kind of day I’ve had.

LYNNE FROM AL, NANCY S, GRAMSIESUE, LINDA IN NC – Sisters, praying for each of you as you show your love in caring for your husbands, that the Lord will provide patience, wisdom, guidance, strength, encouragement and comfort each day. ❤️

This verse so warms my heart. ♥️

My understanding is that apart/ away from Jesus I can not be truly reconciled with God.. in Jesus, and through Him, I can know, believe, trust, and hope in God… truly and without a doubt, or doubting..

    BUT GOD..

Happy today dear hearts! Prayerful today, as you seek Him, you will find Him, and as you look to Him you will see His goodness and mercy.. always, even in the smallest of details..

Blessings wrapped in love, hugs and continued prayers for all, requested and unspoken..
    Much love.♥️

Aren’t we so glad, sweet She’s?!?!?!

May I request prayers for me and the direction of preschool, please? (I can’t sleep tonight, GWINETH52! Hope you are!)

We left our old church (a very conservative Lutheran congregation…. LCMS) during Covid, as they closed their doors. We started attending a Mennonite church that we really like… and know many of the members that attend there through living in this community for so many years. We like that they are a Bible believing church, but we will never join the church. Anyhoo… Preschool enrollment went way down during the height of the Covid craziness, while at that same time, the public preschool expanded their program. So, enrollment has never bounced back… I thought we were on our way back up after last year. But nope! So… the church added onto the building just for the preschool about ten years ago. I am retiring, so it appears they want to shut it down. (I feel like not attending our old church has led to a bigger lack of preschool support than there had been when we still attended… other than financial support… you know?) I have offered to see the current three-year-old class through next year (and only teach MWF for a lower salaried amount… the church has been subsidizing my salary the last few years, as enrollment didn’t cover it.) It is going to be addressed by the church later this month. I have been asked to go to “present my case”. I don’t know what to doooo! I would appreciate your many prayers, sweet sisters. Thank you.
