Remembering that we are called to the obedience of faith, and that every degree of wisdom is from the only wise God, we should, by word and deed, render glory to him through Jesus Christ; that so the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ may be with us for ever.

  4. Terri Baldwin says:

The blessing the apostle expects from God, is victory over Satan. This includes all designs and devices of Satan against souls, to defile, disturb, and destroy them; all his attempts to keep us from the peace of heaven here, and the possession of heaven hereafter. When Satan seems to prevail, and we are ready to give up all as lost, then will the God of peace interpose in our behalf. Hold out therefore, faith and patience, yet a little while. If the grace of Christ be with us, who can prevail against us?

@Rhonda J, You are SO sweet! Thank you for your kind words. Thank you all sweet She’s for praying for me. I loved every moment of my first week as a paraprofessional in the kindergarten class! I still have quite a bit to learn and adjust to the classroom and the teacher, and next week there’s a lot of testing so here I go, on the laptop and testing children. I’m thankful for the other paraprofessional who is very patient and she’s the one encouraged me to apply, so she will be helping me and training me how to test the children. Y’all made my week! I appreciate all of you and thinking of me, and even mentioning me in the comments as you pray for me. I love that here, its very evident that we love one another. Happy Saturday sweet She’s!

RHONDA J and MERCY- Encouraging news! ❤

HEIDI – Cross-country sounds like a perfect choice! I read a Christian novel (originally a movie) by Chris Fabry. The girl/coach in the story involves cross-country. Something maybe you 2 would enjoy together.

    From Barnes and Noble:
“The Official Novelization based on the Overcomer Movie –
Based on the motion picture screenplay by Alex and Stephen Kendrick, Overcomer is one of 2019’s best inspirational books. In this sports novel, award-winning author Chris Fabry pens an inspiring family drama that dares to leave you filled with hope, inspired to dream, and asks the question: What do you allow to define you?

Life changes overnight for coach John Harrison when his high school basketball team and state championship dreams are crushed under the weight of unexpected news. When the largest manufacturing plant shuts down and hundreds of families leave their town, John questions how he and his family will face an uncertain future. After reluctantly agreeing to coach cross-country, John and his wife, Amy, meet an aspiring athlete who’s pushing her limits on a journey toward discovery. Inspired by the words and prayers of a newfound friend, John becomes the least likely coach helping the least likely runner attempt the impossible in the biggest race of the year.”

Have a wonderful and restful weekend, SHES!

I still struggle with loving people that rub me the wrong way. Lord help me with this. Also keep my brother in your prayers, he has had another mini stroke and in rehab again. Blessings to all the She’s love reading your post.
