Grace Day

Open Your Bible

Psalm 51:6

Take this day to catch up on your reading, pray, and rest in the presence of the Lord.

Surely you desire integrity in the inner self,
and you teach me wisdom deep within.

I’m new here too! But I’m guessing they send it out early so we have it and once we finish the month of june which is Romans we jump to psalms together as a community:)

  3. Portia Strange says:

It’s good for me to be reminded that when I sin, I sin against God (Psalm 51:4). This verse doesn’t just apply to adultery, as David did. And it’s not just doing things I shouldn’t be doing (anger, jealousy, drunkenness, coveting, fornication), it’s also not doing things that I should be doing (evangelism, bridling my tongue, caring for orphans & widows, attending church, reading the Word). Although I don’t want to be condemned or wallow in self-pity, guilt, or shame, I want to feel the heaviness, the weight of how ugly my sin really is. Too often, I find myself being lackadaisical & lazy when it comes to sin. I want to experience a godly grief over my sin. I want to hate it, to fight it. Help me Holy Spirit!

  6. Heather Hickey says:

Please if you could all say a parader for my sister, she is 41 and diagnosed last August with Glioblastoma stage IV brain cancer. She had surgery and had 99% removed and has been doing well, but her newest MRI showed new spots and they are now are watching it month to month. She has the hugest FAITH for GOD and is sharing her story all the time. It has brought family closer, friends to church and she has touched so many. Just need prayers for continued battle with this cancer.
